While researching a way to BOOST the metabolism and taking charge of your health and metabolism I stumbled upon many different thoughts on Boosting the Metabolism and thought I’d also share what I discovered back in December 2016. It’s called TRIM.

Do you ever wonder how your friend can eat whatever she wants and not gain a pound, while you seem to gain weight by simply looking at food? The answer is in your metabolism—the way your body burns up all the calories from food.

Some people have a fast metabolism which helps keep weight off, and others have a slow metabolism, putting on weight very quickly. The good news is metabolic rate can be altered, and even sped up. A product called TRIM helps you take charge of your metabolism, so you too can indulge without the bulge!

What is TRIM?

TRIM is a thermogenic product that comes in both drink and capsule form. It helps boost the metabolism, gives you more energy and focus, aids in suppressing the appetite and cravings…the end result is weight (fat) loss.

What is Metabolism?

Metabolism is the rate at which your body’s internal engine operates as it performs its bodily functions. Sex differences: Males generally have a 10 to 15% faster BMR than females because the male body has a larger percentage of lean muscle tissue.

Age: Younger people have faster metabolisms due to increased activity of cells.

Other components of your metabolism include physical activity, which accounts for about 20% of calories burned, and dietary thermogenesis, which is the number of calories required for digesting and processing the food you eat. This accounts for the remaining 10% of energy needs.

How Does This Affect My Weight?
Simply put, your metabolism affects weight management because it determines how many calories you need per day. If you have a high BMR (fast metabolism) it takes a lot of calories for your body to function; eating calorie-laden foods may not pack on the pounds for you. On the other hand, if you have a low BMR (slow metabolism), your body needs fewer calories to function. Unfortunately, for your sluggish metabolism, eating calorie-laden foods will result in weight gain.

How Can I Jump Start my Body’s Metabolic Engine?
Follow these tips to naturally boost your metabolism:

Eat Breakfast. Breakfast is truly the most important meal of the day, especially for you weight loss seekers. Research shows that those who eat breakfast lose more weight than those who skip breakfast. Your metabolism slows down while you sleep and it doesn’t speed back up until you eat again. If you don’t eat until lunchtime, your body won’t burn as many calories as it could during the morning period. Kick start your day with a balanced breakfast. Eat smaller meals throughout the day. Eating five or six smaller meals rather than three large meals helps to keep your metabolism revved up! It also helps to fill you up over the course of the day, making a binge session less likely.

Don’t starve yourself. Fasting, cutting calories and skipping meals will all help put weight ON not OFF. Your body needs a certain number of calories to function. If you don’t meet this need, your body will switch into survival mode, slow down the metabolism and promote the storage of energy (calories) in the form of fat to protect itself from starvation.

Side note here: When consuming the TRIM you will not want to eat as much food or perhaps not want to eat at all….still, you must remember to eat as the KEEP your metabolism that you sped up with TRIM, in high gear. Not eating enough will be like having one foot on the GAS (Trim) and the other on the BRAKE. (consuming too few calories.)

Exercise. Both cardiovascular exercise and weight training help to improve metabolic rate and keep weight off. Cardiovascular exercise, such as walking, running, biking, swimming and aerobics, allows your body to burn a lot of calories at one time. Weight training will increase muscle mass, which burns more calories than body fat. Weight training also puts the metabolism into overdrive, so your burn calories for up to two hours after the workout.

Drink TRIM which has many ingredients including Green Tea extract. Research by the University of Geneva shows that green tea appears to increase metabolic rate and speed up fat oxidation. Compounds in green tea, catechin polyphenols, appear to speed up the rate at which calories are burned and therefore increase overall energy expenditure leading to weight loss!

Drink water. Not drinking enough water can slow down your metabolism. Be sure to drink at least six to eight glasses of water per day or 1/2 ounce for each pound of body weight. Adding a lemon slice to water increases the alkalinity and will also aid in flushing fat.

Energy-dense carbohydrates, such as whole grains, beans, vegetables and fruits that contain fiber to help regulate your metabolism by having less impact on insulin levels.
High quality protein, such as fish, poultry, lean meats, soy, tofu and low fat dairy products to help build metabolism-boosting muscle mass. Essential fats for good health such as olive oil, avocado and nuts.

Years ago I read a book called “Integrity is Everything”. I agree, this virtue really is…. whether in your every day life or in business.

Dave and I were with a company for over 10 years and when they were out of integrity (by not sharing the truth or keeping their word) there was no way we could stay and promote the company. I remember telling the CEO, a friend, that I simply can not and will not tell someone it’s a great opportunity if it is not.

In December 2016 we resigned from that company and joined Tavala.

#1 Reason was TRUST and INTEGRITY-We needed an opportunity (and products) that we could believe in and ‘work’….. and at a close #2 was the opportunity. We wanted a business where the average person had a good chance to make money and where the leaders could earn the big checks.

You see, you can have a great opportunity and be earning lots of money but if you are in a relationship without trust or integrity, eventually things will fall apart, including your reputation. Some people thought we were crazy to resign but the ‘clear and clean break for us was the only way for us to be in integrity.

Tavala is dedicated to its customers and Brand Partners and promises to always share the TRUTH. If they mess up in any way, they will always admit it and correct it promptly.

Today I had a call from a very educated and well informed consumer. She was looking into the Tavala Trim product and had done her ‘homework’ and research via many venues. I love talking to people who have already educated themselves about the product they are inquiring about.

Her questions are valid so I thought I’d take a moment to relay them for others.

She did mention that what she had read on the internet and on Facebook and other social media venues appeared that the TRIM IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

I agree that what you read and see in pictures makes it seem like a magic potion product that produces miracles….and it does, for many people.

Many of our customers share that one of the best things the Trim has done for them is to make them more decisive eaters rather than compulsive eaters. Dieting is difficult for most people and honestly, if it worked, everyone would be at their ideal weight, but that is not the case. Just look around!

When you ‘diet’ it usually means restricting your caloric intake, often too low, so in the long run, you actually decrease -rather than increase your metabolic rate.

Also when you ‘diet’ or restrict calories, you are often tired (not enough fuel) and you begin having cravings that are often uncontrollable. It is difficult to have discipline when you have true hunger and cravings.

Face it, we live in a society where we are bombarded with sweets, sugary foods that are hard to resist and an over abundance of food, period. This time of the year, for many, it is difficult to control those cravings and they simply give up – throw their hands in the air and say they will DIET in the new year.

So….here are some questions she asked me with my honest response.

Is the Trim a safe product for everyone? I’d be a fool to say YES, as some people truly do have health issues where they should consult with their doctor before undertaking any new nutritional program or supplement. Generally speaking, yes, the TRIM is a safe product, however if you have that question, make sure you speak to someone who is educated on your health. Women who are pregnant should not take the TRIM.

Does the TRIM taste good? Everyone’s taste buds are different but speaking general here, yes, the Trim tastes good and many people say it tastes like berry flavored Kool-Aid. If you don’t like that flavor we suggest ordering the capsules.

Will I get the same benefits from the capsules as with the drink? I am not sure how to handle this question and I tell people honestly, I don’t know. However, I have seen and experienced results with both. The majority of our customers buy the drink but we have many people who purchase the capsules. My brother and sister in law, for example, reached their weight loss goal and preferred the capsules. It was just easier for them with their ‘on the go’ lifestyle. I’d suggest trying both and deciding which you prefer.

What if I don’t like the sweetener used in the TRIM? We suggest taking the capsules.

Does the TRIM work for everyone? No, I don’t believe there is one product on the market for weight loss that works for everybody. However I have seen the best results with weight loss, control over eating, by people who take TRIM on a daily basis. The Trim works better than any other product I have known about in my 30+ years as a ‘health educator’ and personal trainer.

On occasion we hear that it didn’t work for a persons expectations, but we don’t know all the factors for this. Did they still over eat? Do they have a health situation that makes it more difficult? Did they not eat enough? My prediction, and mine only, is the Trim works for the majority of people who use it, perhaps 85%-90% or greater.

Will I still lose weight if I don’t exercise or ‘diet’? TRIM is not a diet, it is a supplement that boosts your metabolism so you burn more calories (thermogenic) and also suppresses the appetite and cravings so you will want to eat less. You won’t have to have will power as the Trim will give you that through your reduced cravings and appetite. Beware, you’ll still want to eat small portions… even if you don’t want to eat because you don’t feel hungry- please, to keep your metabolism boosted by not skipping meals.

Choose wisely but don’t get caught up on calorie counting or ‘dieting’. We have hundreds of customer say they lost weight doing NOTHING different other than take the Trim each and every day. Many people also say that with an increase in energy, they do begin to exercise- but it is not crucial in order to lose weight. STILL, we suggest staying active and exercising as it’s a sensible thing to do for overall health.

If I decide to buy the Trim capsules, I see it says 2 per day. Why take 2? Each capsule is equivalent to 1/2 Trim drink. Because some people are more sensitive to Trim, especially in the beginning, Tavala wanted the option of taking 1/2 dose, like you can when you mix 1/2 drink.

Will the TRIM keep me up at night? We know people who take the Trim in the afternoon who have no problem sleeping at night. Generally speaking, we suggest taking the Trim in the morning so that this will not be an issue. (Side bar here: many of our friends and customers who work shift work LOVE the Trim for how it keeps them energized and alert.)

What if I lose weight and then stop losing weight? Has my body adjusted to the Trim and is not working? We suggest if this happens to increase your water consumption, make sure you are eating enough food and not skipping meals, begin an exercise program OR add Tavala CONTROL. Control normalizes blood sugar levels and addresses weight loss in other ways that Trim does not. It is a dynamic duo using both products and has been known to help you avoid plateaus.

How much does TRIM cost? I’m proud to say that the Trim cost the same for customers and members. Tavala does not have multiple prices which shows that they don’t inflate prices to pay commissions to members. In the USA the price is $64.99. It is a 28-day supply.

Did You Hear that Sound . . .

. . . it was the 2-Month Warning for 2017 !

Like in football, the last two minutes can often be the most exciting. And the last two MONTHS of your year can be exciting, too.

But it takes some discipline, some real commitment—maybe even some recalibration and implementing some new systems.
