Day 3: JOY’s TAVALA 14-Day Blitz

Imagine eating healthy, exercising, nourishing your body with good food and supplementation and staying hydrated? Obviously you’d feel better, right? Of course you would.

Well this is how I am feeling on Day 3 of my 14-Day commitment to using and enjoying all of TAVALA’s products daily.

It’s not like rock-science…..

I started out with a commitment to fit into my jeans. I’ll be honest, this started out for vanity reasons, plus I just returned to Vermont after spending time in Florida with dozens of men and women who had recently dropped 10, 20, 30, 40 and even 50 lbs. in the past several months using TAVALA TRIM. THEY motivated and inspired me! (Motivation #1)

Sure, I wanted to have more sustained energy throughout the day and have enough energy to actually WANT to work out…. but the real reason I am doing this is I want to drop 15 pounds of fat…and be a better representation of what TAVALA’s products, especially the TRIM and CONTROL, can do for your health and weight management.

Here is what 10 lbs. of fat looks like… now that is a big blob of FAT!!! I am committed to dropping 15….. yes, those stubborn 15 lbs. that crept up on me in the past 4-5 years- during “menopause” leaving me with a men-o-pot! That’s right, at least 10 of those pounds went right to my mid-section making me look either 5 months pregnant, or more pear shaped, like my mother. Yikes! (Motivation #2)

Here’s a cool thing “belly thing’ that I noticed today, on day 3, at the gym doing ‘crunchy frog’ abs exercises. I could already tell my belly was smaller as I ‘crunchy frogged’ the exercise like a jackknife…seriously! (Motivation #3)

As a personal trainer I used to tell people to stay off the scale and go by body composition and how your clothes fit…. but there is still something about those darn scales that catch many (especially women) off guard…..and have us committed to weighing a certain number on the scale….rather than by the way we look and how we feel.

Still, take a look at this visual and tell me what you think about what a 150 lb. woman looks like…..

Actually you can’t, because there are many versions of what 150 lbs. reflects.

I weighed myself day 1 and will not weight myself (I don’t think) until day 8 and then day 15. Due to being naturally muscular, I have always weighed around 10 lbs. more than people would guess so I have to remind myself that if I transform my body using TAVALA’s products, that whatever the number is in 14 days doesn’t really equate to success or failure. Dropping 10 lbs. of FAT and adding 2 lbs. of lean muscle is a pretty good goal as well.

What am I doing differently with TAVALA the products? How am I incorporating them in my daily regime?

Control before each of my main meals (3x day)

TRIM in the morning after breakfast (drink)

Consume a min. of 1/2 ounce per body weight of water daily

Exercise at 11 am, Cardio, Weight Training alternation

Alert “mist” in the afternoon for sustained energy

Healthy meals, min. of 3 small meals and 1 mid-day snack

Rebounding on a mini-trampoline for a min. of 10 minutes each day (helps with lymph!)

Joy’s Day 2- TAVALA 14-Day Blitz Product Blitz

It’s amazing how much easier something can be when you are truly committed and have the right mind-set. I decided a week ago to stick to a program that includes all of our TAVALA products, and to also include proper exercise, hydration, sleep, mind-set, the whole enchiladas!!! In other words, I committed to ME and to reach a level of health that has eluded me the past several years….. a smart thing to do if you are representing HEALTH products!

I SEE MY END RESULT of dropping 15 lbs…. (which I have tried to do many times in the past several years but NOW I also BELIEVE it will happen with the TAVALA products and I am DOING what is necessary to ensure the results!)

I am not a lazy woman, I simply did not put a priority on my health (and weight gain) and although I coach people all the time on the importance of keeping the metabolism burning with 4-5 smaller meals per day (No Skipping Meals!) as well as a combination of exercise that includes both resistance (weight training) and cardio, AND adequate water intake….somehow my days would fill up and at the end of the day I had ignored doing the simply practices (yes, practices is a good word) myself.

Well, at age 60 I looked at myself, looked at others younger and older than my age and decided I was going to be the best version of myself- with no comparison to my previous self or to others. It is not easy not comparing my 60 year old body to my 30 year old self, as I was a body builder in my 30’s and a personal trainer and I thrived on a fit, lean body. Then MENOPAUSE came and turned my world upside down! But it didn’t have to be that way, I’ll take responsibility, I had become complacent in my daily habits.

I began my Network Marketing ‘career’ sort of by chance in the early 1990’s. I was told by a friend that having a home based business would give me many tax benefits. I was a single mom of two kids, and I knew having an additional $300 or more income per month would make a huge difference in my budget!

I had no idea where to begin to look for a ‘home based business’ but always had an interest in health and nutrition, so when I answered an ad in the newspaper on a business opportunity where I could invest $300 and turn it into thousands of dollars I had to go listen to what this was all about. This was way before the internet when you actually answered ads in the paper, not online, and where you actually went to a place to hear a presentation!

I was working at a gym at the time and my friend who suggested I get a ‘home based business’ was thinking more of ‘personal training, selling fitness clothes or equipment- he was not too excited when I showed him my new investment was a case load of bottles of Nutritional Supplement, called Km.

I never made a full time income with that company- however I got a taste for an amazing lifestyle…and that was as much a motivator as the additional money I made each and every month. When that company posted a contest for winning a trip to Hawaii, for example, not only did I qualify- but I was in the top 2-3 people with sales …which meant a fully paid trip (airfare, hotel AND cash bonus money.)

Yes, I traveled on many all expense paid trips over the years, mostly to exotic places and stayed in the best hotels on the beach….and I had FUN!

One of the benefits of Network Marketing is the people you meet, friendships created and diversity you find among team members. Events are great as people come together with synergy of a mutual goal….and dreams for themselves and their families.

Looking back when I first joined Network Marketing I was such a ‘newbie’ and really didn’t understand how it all worked- and my up line was new to the industry and really didn’t know much either. sort of like the blind leading the blind, but I was enthusiastic and goal motivated so always made money…but not the ‘big dollars’ that many make in this industry.

Now, with TAVALA, and decades of personal experience as well as ‘book knowledge’ from pros in the industry, we are experiencing FAST growth, having a blast with meeting new people and making new friends and as we help more people on our team, OUR checks continue to grow….week after week. I have no doubt they will reach their goals, and as they do, ours are also reached!

What does it take to be a top network marketer? The following standards demonstrate the qualities of leading network marketers and according to Zig Ziglar and John P. Hayes should be used as a guide for the profession:

This is an interesting list to review. You’ll see a couple of my personal comments on this….and after all it is the TEN COMMANDMENTS!

Thou shalt build your business on a character foundation and practice the Golden Rule as you build.
Thou shalt not make unto anyone false perceptions of the income opportunity or the “miracles” your products will work on their health.
Thou shalt not take the name of your company for granted or use it in vain, thereby becoming a product of the product.
Thou shalt remember your workdays to keep them productive and the Sabbath to keep it holy. (Many people on our team do this and I can appreciate their strictness on this!)
Thou shalt not kill the dreaming spirit of any new distributor and remember that you are responsible to those you sponsor, but not for them.
Thou shalt not commit any impurity within your organization or company worldwide.
Thou shalt not bear false witness concerning any part of the company’s growth, mission, or products.
Thou shalt not covet thy cross line’s sales organization, nor steal the down line of another company.
Thou shalt remember to keep God first, family second, and your company third in priority. (This may be debatable to some, but once again it’s nice to know your own particular priorities).
Thou shalt honor thy up line and down line that thy days within the company may be long and enable you to build a substantial residual income. (This is about relationship building)

I have a couple of sayings that I live by and one is “I’ll walk through any OPEN DOORS” and the other is “I ask God, The Universe, to make things CEO, Clear, Easy and Obvious so I can’t possibly miss a sign or opportunity that will enhance my life.”

I’ll walk through any OPEN DOORS: When things are beneficial in life they have an EASE about them. How many times have you tried to make things happen- over and over again and no matter what, it is a struggle and simply does not work out? In fact, many times the “DOOR” has flung wide open before even getting to the actual door! WALK THROUGH IT WITH CONFIDENCE! You are on the right track.
CEO, Clear Easy and Obvious. All of us have opportunities that pass by us each and every day. Signs, ‘signals’ from the Universe and if we listen to that little voice inside, called INTUITION, we’ll be directed. The problem is so many days we are inundated with so much stimulus and activity in the world, that the perfect opportunity may come TO US, and yet we either ignore or or simply do not even see it. CEO=asking God/or The Universe, to make it so CLEAR, EASY and OBVIOUS that you can’t POSSIBLY MISS IT. Say that out loud and watch what shows up!!!!

Recently we were at a cross road in our lives, especially around business – direction, abundance, passion, growth, company, etc. We had this very conversation that I write about above and literally within a day or asking for things to be CEO and PROMISING to walk through any door that opened up, we received an email -followed by a phone call that literally has changed- and enhanced our lives in so many ways. Had we NOT been open to the ‘knock on the door ‘ we would not be experiencing the JOY and business growth and fast growing TEAM that we are now experiencing.

We work hard and are dedicated to our business and career, but we also have balance and enjoy having FUN with what we do. We are creating a team with others who are SELF-MOTIVATED, possess Drive and Integrity and with people who want to enhance their lives as well as the lives of others. Neuroplasticity is an umbrella term referring to the ability of your brain to reorganize itself, both physically and functionally, throughout your life due to your environment, behavior, thinking, and emotions.

A Neuroplasticity Coach is someone who listens and guides you through consciously identifying desired results and then building and applying a methodology designed to re-wire your brain to receive a chosen result. Most people receive the default results over and over. You can change how you process and you can receive the results you want!

Your brain has the ability to re-wire itself. In fact, it’s being doing that since you were born. Years past, science believed that once you reached the age of adulthood, your brain stopped rewiring itself. The latest science has been proving what many have written about for at least 100 years, that the brain is an ever evolving, highly malleable instrument that you can choose, direct, implant and build new neuro pathways or as Maxwell Maltz in his best seller Pyscho-Cybernetics described as a new self-image.

Over 30 years ago I experienced a rapid increase in income by applying the principles of Neuroplasticity I learned in the early 1980’s. I went from struggling in a business to earning over $10,000 per month and got there in 60 days. 10 years later I used these same principles to identify a market, find a business partner and raised over 1.25 million in lines of credit to start and run the business. This all happened within 90 days of starting the re-wiring process.

I have see the results for myself and yes, Neuroplasticity works and it can work for you too.

Can anyone learn and benefit from applying Neuroplasticity? Yes.

The basic process:

Choose a new result in any arena of your life
Build a new model for your brain to process
Implant this new pattern and image daily
Act as if it’s already present. (Do the thing and you’ll have the power to do the thing. ~ Emerson)

I’ve been coaching others for 30 years in these methods and practices to literally change their results by changing the “neuro” wiring of their brain. 30 years ago the term, Neuroplasticity, wasn’t used in most circles, but self image, re patterning, and other terms coined by Maxwell Maltz who authored Pyscho-Cybernetics was.

How has this process been accepted by the world? Many professional coaches since the early 1960’s have used Neuro programing to elevate the game and results of athletes including the legendary coach Vince Lombardi of the Green Bay Packers. I first heard of the Russian Olympic teams using a form of rewiring in the late 60’s. The Golden Bear, Jack Nicklaus has consistently used a mindset coach to visualize each golf shot he takes on the course. Even allowing this visualization he goes thru before each shot to choose the club he will actually use to hit the ball.

Since then, professionals in every category, top producers and those striving to be a top producers use Neuroplasticity and Neuroplasticity coaches to reach and maintain their success. Who uses coaches today? Attorneys, executives, sales people, network marketers, entrepreneurs, teachers, athletes, students, etc. Anyone who desires to up their game and receive the results they want.
