I can only answer this from MY experience! I found that adhering to the 10-Day Ketopia program was very easy. I didn’t have any cravings or hunger and my energy was high. Some people experience a little discomfort in the first couple of days due to detox (also known as Keto-Flu) but I did not have any discomfort whatsoever!
One thing I did find while on the KETOPIA is I quickly became a decisive eater rather than a compulsive eater.
I had never experienced a high healthy fat, low carb diet before- and at first found it difficult to believe eating a high fat diet would/could help me lose weight and inches-but it did. I grew up in the FAT PHOBIC era and steered away from eating foods with a high fat content- EVEN good healthy fats like what avocados and olives provide. This was the same era when packaged foods became popular and everything FAT-FREE became a popular choice. The crazy thing is people have been getting fatter and have poorer health eating low or zero fat foods! One reason is in order to make the foods taste appealing they are added more SUGAR! And THEN, it switched from high sugar to sugar-free packaged foods, which got us fatter and even sicker!
How can fat make you slim? The answer, I am learning is simple –Fat is a fuel. The body also prefers to burn fat over carbs and sugars!

Many people have asked for ideas of what they can eat AFTER their initial 10 Day Reset~
Yesterday I realized how easy it is to live a KETO-Friendly LIFE! We went to a Ketopia TASTING where we had a table-ful of delicious and healthy foods to visually show and demonstrate that being on Ketopia is NOT about deprivation. Among the foods displayed were sliced cheeses, guacamole and fresh raw veggies, nuts, Keto-Quiche, a variety of olives and a beautiful fresh green salad with at a variety of greens and fresh veggies right out of the garden….drizzled with a healthy olive oil based salad dressing.
How does that sound????
Then we went to an annual, day long end of summer picnic party and enjoyed a healthy lunch and dinner- ALL Keto friendly. Although there were an abundant of foods that do not support the program, there were many healthy choices so I could stay relatively in compliance with the program. Once again, salads, veggies, cheese, meats, avocado were some of the foods we enjoyed!

Today I added some different ingredients to my FIXX shake and it was delicious. Typically I enjoy a FIXX shake with just cold water in a shaker, but lately, including today, I mixed it in a Nutri-Bullet, and addded unsweetened Almond Milk, water, 1/2 avocado, tsp. of healthy oil and a drop of peppermint essential oil. It was thick, smooth, filling and delicious. Hours later, I am still full and satisfied!
In two weeks Dave and I will be traveling so will opt to do another 10-Day Reset. Why would we do that while on vacation and traveling? Because IT’S EASY & KEEPS US ENERGIZED!!!! Joy & Ketopia: My 30 Day Results- I am experiencing “Ketopia withdrawal”!
Today I woke up and enjoyed a mug of Bullet Proof Coffee…..something we have recently added to our morning ritual. It goes hand in hand with Ketopia and I love how alert it makes me feel!
After my coffee I paused….. I went BLANK as what to have for breakfast as I have been accustomed to enjoying my KetonX drink- and then I remembered- I AM NOT ON KETOPIA ANYMORE! Yikes!
So Dave reminded me of the 20-Day Post Ketopia program and how it suggests having a FIXX energy shake for breakfast. I have been enjoying FIXX for many years so had plenty in my cupboard….. Whew! I mixed it with water in a shaker, added 1 drop of peppermint essential oil and VOILA- I had a quick and nutritional breakfast shake!
Today I did my 30 Day Assessment of weight lost, inch loss etc. and initially did not have the appreciation for my results, AND THEN I saw something about GRATITUDE and it hit me! Be grateful for what I have accomplished and begin enjoying the results- today!!! So I did! A friend put this together for me and it pretty much explains my benefits I received over the past 30 days on Ketopia. Along with the weight and fat loss- my PRIMARY reason to using the Ketopia in the first place, it is true…..my mental clarity and focus went from a 4 on a level of 10 to a 9.5!
11 am and I had “Dough bite” withdrawal? ….. so I had a 1/3 avocado!
1 pm: oh no…..lunch time and I usually am more full and satisfied due to the Dough bite so I made lunch and actually enjoyed 2 hard boiled eggs, 1/3 cucumber and slice of Vermont Cheddar Cheese…with a drizzle of olive oil! From here I’ll cruise through the day……

So here I am easing my way BACK into normal eating…..and setting goals for my continued journey on HEALTH and weight/fat loss! At 150 lbs. I wish (and WILL) return to 143 lbs. and I’ll maintain a “keto style” nutritional regime. 65-70% healthy fats, 25-30% protein and 5% carbs. In the meantime, I believe that part of my solution will be to get back into weight training. Although we live far from our gym I do have free weights I will begin to use again. My next UPDATE and PHOTO will be in 30 Days.

Post menopause- I felt like I have been living in someone else’s body. I told my husband I feel like I have dirty spark plugs and need to RECHARGE or REBOOT my BODY. On almost all new nutritional programs that I have been on there is a COUNT DOWN until the day finally arrives when it is OVER! Sometimes I have celebrated with my favorite meal or snacks and often with several cocktails…. but not this time…… Ketopia has shifted my food intake and food consciousness and I plan to continue.
