This is one of my most FUN blogs that I have put together as I’m sharing a fun journey about Shelby Vinson who has challenged herself to fit BACK into her wedding dress that she wore when she got married almost 11 years ago.

This is ‘Blog segment’ #1. As you may guess from the title, Shelby is inspired to fit BACK into her beautiful wedding dress that she wore almost 11 years ago….

This is ” In her own words”…. (however I’ll interject from time to time in blue)

Shelby Vinson, AKA Shelby Dietrich, Born April 1980, Houston, TX.

(I looked up and found Shelby was born April 25 so is a Taurus. According to one Astrology source, being a Taurus born on April 25th, you are affectionate and committed. You are the one in your circle of friends, to come up with the quirkiest ideas.

You don’t take too much time with decisions and often go by impulse. You have big expectations in life!” That pretty much summarizes what I already know about Shelby by doing this blog.

What Shelby doesn’t say is she is a pistol of energy, with contagious optimism! We have no doubt that she will reach her goal as she is very driven…and for her own reasons…not because someone told her to!

“I graduated Texas A&M University 2002 and was 100 % hyper-focused on my career. Upon graduation I was one of eight selected in the world to enter the Zale Corporation Merchandising training program. By the time I was 28, I was the Cartier Buyer for all Neiman Marcus stores across the country and married to Rich Vinson.

We lived in a nice part of Dallas, in a house with a pool, surrounded by great friends.

I walked away from my career 3 weeks before I turned 30 when I became a mommy to Katherine (Katy) Vinson and then another beautiful daughter, Leah Vinson, was born 3 years later.

I’m now 38. Pregnancy was not kind to my body. I currently weigh 211 lbs. and that IS 19 pounds lighter than when I started Tavala 1 month ago!!

I’m on a roll. I don’t want to lose momentum. So, here’s my proposal: The Wedding Dress Challenge!

I was married October 27, 2007 in Galveston, TX

Prior to my wedding I crazy dieted and remember weighing roughly 160ish pounds. I’ve never been a “small-size”, but I do remember feeling comfortable in that skin. Honestly, when I think about or dream about myself, THAT’S what I look like. Odd? I see my true 211-pound self in pictures. That’s when I cringe and think, “What happened?”

Last October, Rich and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. This summer, I was approached by my life-long friend and bridesmaid from my wedding, Kara Bagley, about Tavala. She introduced me to a product that is already changing my life and will be the catalyst to my goal of fitting into my wedding dress.

I don’t want to ever think of myself as someone that “…let themselves go…”, especially after being so focused in my 20s.

This is the time. This is for me. I will fit back into my wedding dress! See below. Day 1…and make sure you follow my progress.

Are you looking for a way you can earn income from home? A way you can still have a balance in your family life, choose the hours you work and not have to report back to anyone or stamp a time clock? OK, so let’s say you only want to work part-time “What is the best industry or job to work that will make it worth your time and energy? Without question or hesitation I’d say it is the industry of network marketing.

Do your research. If you are entrepreneurial and self motivated, you’ll find that with network marketing you own your own business, but don’t have the overhead or the start up business costs of a traditional business…. and your income you can earn has no ceiling. You can be in the black your first week!

With careful research and tapping into the industries you LOVE, you can find a great company that will be a good fit. But I caution here- don’t join the first business that is presented to you or better yet, make sure you join a solid company where the timing, the products, the financial backing and the support from ‘team’ will be best for you. This is especially true if you are only wanting to put 5-20 hours a week into your business. Put another way, interview the company as well as the person presenting the opportunity, as if it were a ‘job’ interview.

I got into network marketing when I was a single mom of two children. It made sense to me- seemed easy to share a product I was passionate about with others, and I could easily make $300 a month income, which was my original goal. My first month- to my surprise, I earned enough money to pay my condo mortgage. I was hooked.

If you’re a woman who is currently a stay-at-home mom let’s talk. It is my passion to help other women in this industry. Women are natural ‘networkers’. We love to chat and share with others. Just think of how you found your dentist, doctor, favorite restaurant, heard about your favorite book or went to a recent movie based on a referral. Most likely someone recommended those things to you.

The RAW Truth and Nothing but the TRUTH…

This visual is a rather FUN reminder that this is the time of the year when people typically GAIN weight … but the fact is, you don’t HAVE to! Not if you have the right “TOOLS” and mind-set.

And this is what this BLOG is all about!

Yesterday I committed to myself and my health that I would drop unnecessary pounds of fat that have accumulated over the past 6 years. The crazy thing is I help people DAILY in my business and with Tavala Trim reach their weight loss goals.

I was beginning to question MY personal discipline and then realized it wasn’t that at all. It was that I had given up taking the TRIM because when I did it made me feel ‘weird’ and nauseous.

Just making a couple of alterations is making the difference: 1) the timing I take the products and 2) I am now taking the Trim Capsules versus the drink. 1 Capsule = 1/2 Drink and that is about all my system can handle, at least for now.

I also decided that writing DOWN what I eat is important as when I am taking TRIM I often do not feel like eating so I skip meals or do not consume enough calories. This HELPS me make sure I am don’t take the TRIM to boost my metabolism and then put my foot on the brake by SLOWING my metabolism down to insufficient calories. Make sense?

For me, Day 2 and I am staying with the 1 capsule of TRIM per day, taking it in the morning. I had so much energy and focus yesterday and through the night I couldn’t wait to jump out of bed and share my ‘many’ ideas with Dave.

Also, for me, the appetite suppressant is SO STRONG that last night I ate a fraction of what I normally do for dinner and was more than satisfied with one cocktail. (Yum, scotch and a splash of ginger beer) and when Dave brought popcorn while watching a movie, I didn’t have one kernel. NO APPETITE. The food journal is good for everyone (knowledge can be power) including someone like me who often will not consume enough food. You must eat to keep your metabolism going. It also made me consume the minimum water suggested for my weight.

For people who lack discipline with food (cravings and amounts) the Tavala TRIM is a great way to get your life and food under control. I know when I feel in control in any aspect of my life, I feel more balanced and everything seems possible.

Day 2 and I had enough energy in the morning to go to the gym. 3rd day is a row which is great as we had slacked since returning from our 7-day Caribbean cruise we took in November with other Tavala leaders. Oh and guess what? Due to the TRIM many people on the cruise who were taking the TRIM actually did not gain weight or LOST weight? Who the heck loses weight on a cruise? Very few I am sure.

Today’s workout was weights: back and bicep, 15 min. cardio and abs. Since I am taking the TRIM and the CONTROL in the morning right after coffee, I now have a difference kind of morning energy. Whatever the case, it is working. Down 1.5 lbs. since yesterday which is promising as I have been stuck at a set point for some time.

Guess what? I am going to prove to myself that I can also lose weight during the holidays like all others taking TRIM. It sure would be fun to begin 2018 closer to my ideal weight.

And no, I’m not totally obsessed with the number on the scale, I simply want optimum health and I know added fat, especially around the belly, is not healthy.
