One Question that comes up periodically is “Will the TAVALA TRIM (Now called TRIM MAX, but from here on we’ll simply say TRIM) help me lose weight FASTER even if I am on another ‘diet’ program?”

Joy’s Day 1 TAVALA 14-Day Blitz

My main motivation, to be perfectly honest, is to TRANSFORM my body like hundreds of my friends have, who have been using the TAVALA TRIM on a consistent basis. That means losing weight (goal of 15 lbs.) and inches, especially around my ‘men-o-pot’, aka waist line.

In addition to weight loss, another motivation is to get on a regular schedule of proper eating, 4-5 small meals per day (vs. my regular 2-3 meals per day) and begin to exercise on a regular basis (3 weight training per week, 3 cardio-min. per week) and staying hydrated. As a former Personal Trainer and Transformational Life Coach, I used to TEACH this and not sure why, stopped following my own advice over this past winter.

Today I did something that I rarely do- and that is to step on the scale. Normally I’d be quite freaked out, but since I have a plan- TAVALA TRIM for starters, it was good to know where I am starting….and it’s just a number! (I also measured myself and set those numbers aside until day 15 when I will make comparisons).

I also took a couple of ‘before pics’ and yes this took courage to post as my belly has never been so ‘full and fat. However rather than getting upset, I am using these pictures as a motivation!

How does this differ from my normal days?

Well, for starters I usually don’t have my breakfast until around 10 am or even later, so my metabolism usually has not kicked in like when you eat BREAKFAST early in the day. Breakfast, literally means ‘break the fast’ as when we sleep our metabolism typically slows down during sleep.

I have now added CONTROL before meals, 3 times per day!

WATER- wow, I realize without conscious thought, I bet I only drink 3-4 (tops) glasses of water per day. I have committed to drinking 1/2 of my weight in ounces of water….and today, due to being hydrated, I felt I had more energy.

Meals, 3 meals per day and a couple of smaller snacks. TRIM really does curb the appetite and in the past I have LOVED that I haven’t had the urge or interest to eat, so I wouldn’t. BAD NEWS when you are looking to burn fat. If you skip a meal, your metabolism will slow down to conserve energy as you are actually putting it in a starvation mode. I know all this and I teach all of this, but now I am committed to being MY BEST STUDENT!

Last but not least, I think one of the most dramatic things I have committed to doing is consume ZERO Alcohol. I’m not saying alcohol is bad- I love my chardonnay and cocktails- too much- and know intellectually that it is keeping me ‘fat’. I have been lean most of my life, and menopause crept upon me and my ‘shape’ has changed- and I feel like I am in a foreign body. But I know if is only temporary as my solution is TAVALA PRODUCTS….and a commitment of 14-days of the above regime until I reach my weight loss goal of 15 lbs. (No matter how long it takes!) The crazy thing is several of my friends dropped 14 and even 15 lbs. in their first 7-days using just the TRIM, so I am confident on my approach.

JOY: Preparing for my TAVALA 14-Day “Blitz/Challenge”

Who Wants to JOIN ME?

We are on our way home from Florida, and I am now reliving experiences we had with our TAVALA team during the past 5 days. We enjoyed meeting with many people through the several events we hosted and as a result, I got totally inspired to begin MY TAVALA experience….in a complete and comprehensive way. It’s about time!!! Yes, I have been enjoying the Tavala products, all of them, for months but I’ve never completed a 7-day TAVALA TRIM challenge…and this one is going to be a 14-day challenge. I love the TRIM and drink it, for example, every other day or as needed, when I want more energy or to curb my appetite and cravings. As a results, I am still carrying around the 15 lbs. of weight I gained since going through menopause….….which now that Vermont is turning spring like and warmer (sort of) I definitely am committed to losing those pounds that do NOT serve or feel good on my body. Dozens of friends on our TAVALA team have dropped 10, 20, 30 and even 50 + pounds in the past several months and if THEY can do it – I’ll let their success inspire ME and I’ll commit to reaching my ideal and healthy weight as well. I’ll also be 100% open and honest about my experience and will blog daily. I think I need that accountability! Can you help?

So…. I am committing to beginning my new journey- RESET if you will, on Wednesday, May 3^rd. I detest the bathroom scales but I WILL weigh myself and take measurements and document them. I already know that my current weight is more than I weighed at both of my full-term pregnancies, 35 and 36 years ago.

But heck, I don’t want to brag or make anybody jealous, but… I can still fit into my earrings I wore in high school. 😊

In the past when using the TRIM I didn’t commit to eating if I was not hungry, and honestly since I often could care less about food or eating, the result was I often skipped meals, which is devastating to one’s weight loss effort! (and I know better!) When you do not eat regularly throughout the day, your metabolism actually conserves energy, slows down and your weight loss will come to a halt. I know this intellectually, but I wasn’t applying it.

Truth be known the TAVALA TRIM is one of the most incredible weight loss/weight management products out there and I have tried many over the decades. At age 60, this one is ideal for what my body needs. The TRIM is a thermogenic product: a metabolism booster, it gives you energy & focus, helps suppress your appetite and cravings and helps you lose weight. HOWEVER for best results, you still need to eat regular meals, (even though it will be less) and my suggestion from my former personal trainers view point, is to eat 5 smaller meals per day to keep the ‘engine’ burning. With TRIM I know my journey will be much easier than trying to lose weight with sheer discipline.

So, wish me well. My goal is to drop 15 lbs. of bloat and fat- while maintaining lean muscle. I promise to work out with weights at the gym 3x week, do at least 3 days of cardio (walking most likely or perhaps tennis) and 10 minutes daily of rebounding. This will help with my lymphatic system….which is good as I know toxins will be released due to my cleaner way of eating AND drastic increase in water intake.

Now to be honest here- my largest ‘concern’, if you will, is I know I will miss my evening glass or two of chardonnay, or cocktails (yes -often plural) of scotch with maple syrup. Yes, you heard it, maple syrup. Talk about adding extra sugar and calories…but it is delicious and over the long cold winter, I found it very comforting.

My reward after 14-days is to buy a pair of jeans and I don’t care how much they cost. I basically live in yoga and palazzo pants…. So they either are baggy with a flow or they stretch to fit my body. 😊 I think everyone deserves to have a pair of jeans that fit….and it has been several years since I have had that ‘pair’ that makes me feel sexy and that I don’t have to stuff my body into.
