How and Why We Joined Tavala

It’s hard to believe that 5 weeks ago, Dave and I were wondering what the heck we were going to do. Business was not going well. The holidays were coming, we were working with 2 network marketing companies… one I had been with for over 10 years (Dave and I had created a large organization in the past 3.5 years with their new division) and the other was a company we found, while searching the internet, back in July.

We found what we have always told other people, it is hard- if not impossible- to ride two horses with one butt (or work effectively with 2 companies….. Problem is, we couldn’t afford to work just one, as neither were covering our basic living expenses.) Things had changed so drastically in the last 2 years and rather than enjoying the momentum of a nicely built organization, instead were were building over and over again. In fact, people were leaving the company faster than they were joining. To say we were desperate is an understatement. Yes we did begin working with another company…but even with that company, as good as it was, the financial growth was slow and offered a part time income, at best.

That ‘memorable’ day back in December we literally were on the couch talking about our future and literally began praying for a solution. We wanted that FIRE back in our bellies….we wanted something where we could make a huge impact, train, coach, mentor and build something beautiful that would help people and would utilize our God given talents. We wanted to represent something that we could be proud of and trust. We were OPEN, we didn’t know what it would look like- but that day we PROMISED God, and we promised each other, that we would be open and walk through all open doors. And then the phone rang.

And this is how we ‘happened’ upon Tavala. Our prayer was answered when we received a phone call from a friend whom we had worked with previously, in a former business. Does Tavala Trim Taste Good?

Ever since Tavala Trim launched ( November, 2016) there has been a BUZZ in the weight loss and supplement industry. “New Kid on the Block and it works!!!!!” “New Product Launched that offers QUICK results….you HAVE to try it”!!!, etc. We are talking about Tavala Trim.

Quick Fix

Feeling “something” quickly is perfect for most of us as we in the United States (and beyond) crave things that offer a positive sensation to ones energy, mood and body….quickly. We do, indeed, live in a microwave society, so much that the joke is that people stand in front of the microwave and tell the popcorn to HURRY UP! Yes, I certainly felt a substantial boost in energy within my first 30 minutes of drinking my Tavala Trim… so much so, that day 2 I cut the pack in half and enjoyed 1/2 serving. (If you are like me and sensitive to stimulants, we suggest starting with 1/2 packet on day 1, especially if you have already enjoyed your morning coffee.) Feeling a boost quickly is a positive thing. We all know great products out there, but many have to be consumed for up to 90 days before you actually ‘feel’ something.

Does Tavala Trim Taste Good?

The answer is YES, it tastes good! People can LOVE a product and it can give the results desired (In this case, Energy, Focus, Appetite Suppressant, Metabolism Booster, Weight Loss) but if it doesn’t taste good, people will NOT use it. Period! I know this first hand as a product I recently marketed in 2015 worked for 50% of people who used it but it tasted horrible! One batch in particular had people literally gagging and running for the toilet! Even though many people liked the results – because the taste was undesirable, they would not reorder. Bummer but true.

What does the TRIM taste like?

The Tavala Trim has been compared to tasting like ‘fruity Kool-Aid’ or a delicious berry drink. Someone else said it tasted like a berry tea that she had at Starbucks. Whatever the flavor is, EVERYONE I have spoken with has really enjoyed the flavor. Hallelujah!!!!!

We find mixing the drink and pouring it into a nice glass -rather than in a plastic shaker bottle, seems to taste more enjoyable (not sure why) !! Add ice, or not. Either way we are confident that you will pleasantly enjoy the flavor.

Some people prefer the capsules stating that they can take the capsules in their pocket or purse, swallow in the morning , as they are very quick to take and portable.

Does Tavala Trim Work for Energy & Weight Loss?

In November I received a phone call from a friend whom I trust. He was wondering if my husband and I would be interested in trying a new product that his company had recently launched. He was not pitching me on his company or product but honestly wanted our opinion and feedback. Since we have been visible and successful in network marketing we get calls like this often, but there was something about the way we were INVITED to take a look and sample the product, that was honoring and authentic….so we reluctantly said “Sure, send us a Free 7-Day Sample” and we’ll let you know what we think.”

The more I thought about the product, Tavala Trim, the more excited I got to try it as it was during the holiday season and I figured I could use all the help I could get to NOT gain weight between Thanksgiving and New Years. Plus the Ketogenic program I had been on for over a year was NOT working….and I needed help in dropping weight I have gained since menopause.

Due to Thanksgiving the samples arrived a couple of days later than expected and I remember being ANXIOUSLY EXCITED during that weight. Hmmmm, it had been a while since a product had me excited and I found I was getting impatient waiting for our samples to arrive.

When we received our packages in the mail we were VERY impressed with the presentation.

The 7-Day samples were in a beautiful gold envelope – and the interior with the dark purple print looked very ROYAL. I could see the company took pride on the presentation and branding!

The interior opened up with a pocket for the 7 individual samples and instructions on how to use the product for best results. (Simply add content of each pouch to 12-16 ounces of water).

There are products on the market that have a ‘sweet presentation’ but taste horrible or simply do not deliver the results they advertise. I have to say we were VERY impressed with our first experience.

Day 1 we took a full serving size, and since have recommended to people that if they have any sensitivities to natural stimulants, to start with 1/2 package day 1. Within 15 minutes both Dave and I felt more energy- which in a ‘microwave society of wanting a quick fix’ was impressive. Who can’t use a little boost of natural energy or a little more focus, no to mention a boost in metabolism.

The next thing we noticed as the day progressed is we had ZERO hunger….and ZERO cravings. We drank a lot more water throughout the day (good benefit) and the energy boost sustained through the entire day. I am sensitive to most things that offer energy but this was different. It was an even-keel energy that had no crash effects. I slept well that night as well.

I recently heard the analogy that “Changing MLM Companies Can Be Like a Divorce.”

For those out there who have been divorced, you may know how difficult it can be terminating a relationship, ESPECIALLY one where you still care for or even love. But being true to yourself you know that in your heart, that the relationship is no longer the best or healthiest relationship for you to be in and you make the painful change.

The same can apply to loving a company you have been with in the Network Marketing industry, perhaps one you have been in with many years. At some point, there may be a time that your goals and visions shift, or that you need to make more residual income and you find some other company that is a better fit.

network marketing and work placeThis doesn’t mean that you don’t still love the ‘old company’, or that you don’t still love their products (or even recommend them) or don’t like the corporate staff that was like family….. or your team you developed….it’s just that at this stage in YOUR life you must follow your own path- whatever that looks like and wherever that leads.

I could never understand it when friends got divorced and found they had to split up their mutual friends! I have seen people take sides and true friendships even completely dissolve. This happened years ago when my ex-husband and his business partner split ways. All of a sudden the “other husband” then forbid his wife to continue being my close friend….and the sad thing is she listened to him. It took me years to get over that feeling of betrayal.decisions-decisions

So why is it that in most any other profession- other than Network Marketing- if you change jobs people wish you well, rather than try to tear you down on your decision? If you are working as a teacher in a school that is an hour from your home, earning $40,000 a year and get an offer to work for a school 10 minutes from your house earning $62,000 a year what would you do? You’d probably take the job with higher pay, closer to your home. How silly would it be to make your friend feel horrible for their decision? or to stop being their friend?divine discontent

One thing I have admired with many friends in Network Marketing is they have built and maintained friendships no matter what company they are with. This means their lives are RICH in ways due to the sharing of ideas with others, championing their successes and staying in touch with those people you enjoy being with regardless if you are their up-or down line!!!! Dave and I call them “Hot Tub Friends.” (People you’d enjoy spending time with in a hot tub, with an adult beverage!)

Now that I have played with this analogy I can see why some people feel like changing companies is like a divorce. It hurts….and it doesn’t have to.
