It is our pleasure to introduce you to a power-house woman, Betty Rivera. In her own words:

“Having been in Network Marketing I know how important it is to have the right product and support from a company. When I first learned about Tavala I was looking to lose weight but was not interested in dealing with packaged foods.

I received my 3-day sample of the Tavala TRIM and noticed the difference right away. I wasn’t as hungry and I was losing weight! My first week I lost 7 lbs.

I decided to use the other products and one especially made a difference in my life. That product was Control. I was pre-diabetic and suffered from high blood pressure. I took it faithfully for 1 month and when it was time for my labs and check up I wasn’t in the danger zone for diabetes anymore and my doctor dropped my blood pressure medication from 5 to 4. Now I’m currently only taking two and I have to take my blood pressure on a regular basis as to make sure not to ‘over medicate’. Currently my BP is 118/73 and soon I hope to be off all medication. Awesome!

Jim and Teri helped me get my orders in when all I had access to was limited cell service and no internet. It was rough for many months but I pushed through. If there was a time and place for Tavala this was it.

Thank goodness for my military years in the Marine Corps which taught me to persevere and improvise. Two things I relied on after the storm….perseverance and the ability to improvise. I was 7 1/2 months without power and still no “home internet”- nor does it seem it’s a possibility for 2018.

I kept meeting people and sharing the Tavala story and products. Here in Puerto Rico these products fit into the culture unlike the packaged foods I previously had. In other words, your daily diet doesn’t change. You are just eating less because you aren’t as hungry. This makes it better for you to plan on what to eat and make better and healthier food choices. In speaking with Betty today I fell in love with her dedication to being of service to others and to not letting anything get in her way of reaching her goals. Born in Puerto Rico, when she was 1 years old her family moved to the Bronx, which was a common destination for many Puerto Ricans during that time. (late 1950s). People were searching for a better life and better opportunity for them and their families. By age 4 Betty moved to Aurora, Illinois, where she lived and graduated from high school. From there she was off to Washington, DC. where she joined the Marine Corps. She was there, an active Marine, for 10 years! As you read from above comments, it was in the Marines that she said she learned perseverance and how to improvise.

When Betty shared with me her daily routine following hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico my jaw was open wide. I have never experienced anything like this in my life (61 years) and am not sure I would have such a positive outlook and ability to cope as Betty, and many others, have. In fact, she (at age 55) is currently training for a 10K this coming October and her all-time dream is to some day run in the Marine Corp Marathon!

Following “Maria” Betty would get up at 4 am to get gas. Even though they didn’t open up until 6 am, she was in line early as often the line was 4 hours long! From there she would get in the ICE LINE, for 2 bags of ice so that she could get necessary ice for those who needed to keep their insulin cold. That was often another 3-4 hours wait. From there it was to the ATM, 45 min. to an hour away, where there were often 200 people in line…. each of them ‘hoping’ there would be money when they got to the ATM machine.

With no power, they improvised with other forms of lights- in fact Betty said she became so proficient at doing things in the dark that even now she often forgets to turn on the lights to do things! Because of all of this she claims she is stronger!

During this time Betty often filled water bottles with cold water and ice and added a Tavala TRIM to the bottle. She would supply those in her neighborhood who needed the water, but also the energy and focus (and positive vibes) that the Tavala TRIM supplies.

Betty also shared samples of the Quantum Relief Strips for those people who were in pain and needed relief. To this day people in her community in Puerto Rico often call her TAVALA rather than Betty!

Betty has experienced results with many of the Tavala products. There are not enough words to share what Tavala products, specifically the Trim, have done for me. In September 2017, I was at my lowest mentally and physically that I have ever been. I sat in a dark room deeply depressed and miserable. I had been that way for a LONG time.

I heard about a product called Tavala Trim from a dear friend of mine, Darlene Carson. She had wanted me to try this since February 2017 and I kept saying NO NO NO. Wasn’t interested. I finally gave the depression and despair over to God and he revealed to me that I needed to give Tavala a chance. Wow what a difference Trim has made in my life.

You see there are some other circumstances very few people are aware of. I had gone thru gastric bypass surgery in 2005 and afterwards, just about everything I ate came right back up. For 6 straight months, I tossed up everything. It was miserable. I did lose approximately 150 lbs. during this time–GREAT you say. But the second I started eating, I gained all but 50 lbs. back. That was the main contributing factor in the depression. I had gone thru too much to allow myself to do this.

WHY was I doing this? I craved sweets constantly and something salty–potato chips. Even though I kept my calorie intake down, the weight just kept going up. I felt completely alone in that journey as well meaning family & friends constantly said, “well if you would eat right or if you would exercise or if…if…if….”….. Not necessarily true.

You see I have lupus and cannot exercise. Years ago I would end up in the hospital after trying to exercise. I didn’t fry foods, I didn’t keep sweets in the house, I tried to keep the intake to a minimum but I could not.

Thank God and thank my loving friend for introducing me to Tavala. To date I’ve lost 44 lbs. and I’ve lost many many inches. My clothes are literally falling off. Walking thru the kitchen the other day, I actually felt my pants fall to my ankles. My daughter and I just laughed.

What a wonderful feeling (but glad it happened at home). I now take the Trim, Control, and Protein Shake religiously (Transformation Pack) and I’m TRANSFORMING my life with Tavala.

Whoopie. (That’s a good Texas yell.)

IN HER OWN WORDS…

“I have always been the person that does what it takes to survive. I have never been the person to let fear hold me back.
My husband and I and 4 children live a very simple life. Working on ranches, welding, mechanic, mail delivery, fish hatchery, promotional items, construction and even some cattle artificial insemination to make life go smoothly! I was taught to work hard, and life will be easy. (NOT) I have always wanted to lose weight as 4 children left my body a bit different and my energy level was at an all-time, LOW-but I carried forward. Several years ago, a friend sent me a sample of a product that would help me lost weight and gain energy… so of course I tried it and shared with everyone.

That company taught me the dos…. and the DONT’S of Network Marketing!!! I had a 5-year sprint with that company and made some good money. We were the top of the top, money, enrollers, doing network marketing full time and changing lives. We even built lifelong friendship and seriously found our spot in life…. changing people’s lives for health, wealth and lifestyle… PERFECT FIT for what I love to do!

Then my world came crashing down. The company turned to retail and took my entire 5 years of work with them. I could have stayed with them and continue to promote the company, but I would have taken all my down lines money and left them with nothing… while still selling products I believed in. That was a Deal breaker for me. Integrity was everything. I live in a rural area with barely 15000 people and if I had done that my name would have been mud.

I went back to work…. punching a time clock building someone else dreams. My husband, Travis, went back to welding (which absolutely makes him physically ill with the dirty environment) and we begin our journey again. Travis is working 3 jobs and me 2 and we are just trying to survive… Not sure why I had not lost hope, but I did not…

I never did give up on Network Marketing and after shopping for the ‘next thing’…and many samples and hours on the phone with many companies, I could not find that fire I once had. Maybe I was pouting but it was not there.
Then someone introduced me to Tavala (honestly, all the while I was literally rolling my eyes because every company has the same key phrases!)

All I needed was a product that did what it said it did and a company that did what it said it would do.

Honesty and transparency was all I was looking for; however, I had not made up my mind to go all in again.
Tried the Tavala Trim product…. Yep-it had “knock my socks off energy” and I broke a plateau in my weight! Then I tried it on a few friends and their reaction was the same.
One of my go-to told me “Coliese when you go all in and make your move I will know it and I will be on board!” And that was the switch I needed.

I finally found my passion again. What I realized is what I was good at is loving humans… and sharing products that work. But most importantly I was good at loving HUMANS no matter what or how they lived or did for work. I just want to help them to be their best to get thru life as easy and great as possible.

So here I am at a weight I am very comfortable with and I have quit the 8-5 to build my Legacy. Travis is working until I can hit some financial marks that we can be comfortable at. One thing is for sure I believe network marketing is the way to go … when you find the product you can believe in! Tavala has those products.

I have no training… just life lessons and it has taught me to help others and everything takes care of itself.

Meet Jennifer Camacho, singer, ukulele player and well-known performer in Hawaii- also known as the “Blonde Hawaiian”. It is with pleasure that we share Jennifer’s story.

In her own words:

“A year ago I was in rough physical health. My lung function was only 35% and my oxygen levels were 60-70% capacity. It was difficult getting around and I was hospitalized for 5 months. When I got out of the hospital I saw a man I knew who had lost a lot of weight and learned he was using a product called Tavala Trim. I told my daughter, Maile, who began researching the product and with excitement we both purchased product and joined as members. Surely if this product works, we knew many people who would be interested. Both of us were wanting to lose weight and hoped this would help us as we had both struggled for years. (As it turned out, my granddaughter Megan as well as Chad, Maile’s fiance, also decided to try the TRIM too.)

My lung function was 85% (up from 35% a year prior) and my oxygen was now at 94% versus 60-70%. My COPD was not even detected -not a trace. Meet Maile…from beautiful Hawaii as she shares her weight loss journey.

“In her own words”:

“I’ve never been a thin person and I struggled with my weight from the young age of 12. Thru my teens, the only way I could lose weight was by practically starving myself and I think we all know how that ended.

Fast forward to the age of 24, I was pregnant with my daughter Megan and by the time I gave birth I was 70 lbs. heavier! I tipped the scale at a whopping 243 lbs! Now just imagine, on a 5’ 2” frame it was not a pretty sight.

I tried just about every product out there and did just about every diet thru the years as my weight continued to yo-yo up and down. All of it was just temporary and I’d end up gaining it all back and more! As I got older, it got much more difficult to lose even one pound without eating like a rabbit and working out like a fanatic! Needless to say, I was stuck in a rut and my body was so confused with all the different things I was doing to try and shed some weight.

Then…just by chance, in July 2017, my mom stumbles across a picture of a friend on Facebook. He had lost so much weight in such a short time, that she barely recognized him. It inspired her so much that she showed me the picture and said “you need to find out what this product is that he’s taking”. I did a little research and found out it was a product called Tavala Trim. Without any hesitation, I signed on as a member because after reading all the testimonies and researching the product, I was excited and I had full confidence that it would work and could help my mom and I and many others. Within the first two weeks I had lost 9 lbs with no effort or change in my diet whatsoever. My energy level soared, there was no afternoon sluggishness and my mental focus was on point. My appetite had decreased greatly and I was no longer craving sweets and had no problem saying no when offered goodies at the office. (this was normally a huge challenge)

My results have inspired my Mom, my fiancé Chad, and my daughter Megan to try Tavala also. Total household weight loss to date is 115 lbs. gone!!! By the beginning of October, I had personally lost 22 lbs. It had been years since I had been able to lose that much weight in such a short time and I have never felt better.

I am currently at a 30 lbs. weight-loss and went from a size 18-20 to a size 14 and soon will be in a 12. I’ve donated bags and bags of my plus size clothing and made a lot of people very happy. I am still purging my closet just about every month as the inches continue to melt away. It has motivated me to eat better, join a gym, exercise regularly, and just really embrace life. I am 60 lbs. away from my goal and with Tavala, I have no doubt that I’ll get there, but how quickly depends on me.

Tavala has also given me the opportunity to help others who are struggling with their weight. I’m confident with Tavala I am able to continue to help people who have just about given up, and instead, give them hope. I look forward to helping as many people as I can and if they choose to do the business side as I have, they will love the weekly commissions.

“Have you ever felt like you have won the lottery by finding that perfect thing?
That perfect place? That perfect gift?

Well, for me it was finding “that” perfect product again! You see my journey started back in early November 2011 with another company with a very similar product. I loved it! I was a product of the product. It was like winning the lottery, the weight loss lottery.

You see from the age of 12 years old, I gained 45 pounds in 4 months. I dove into food for comfort. I ran 5 miles every day and yet my clothes only got a little tighter. I ended up stopping running when we moved – and that made losing weight even more difficult. I battled with my weight my whole life up until that day in November 2011!. After that, I lost weight without struggle. I still had to watch what I ate in moderation but it was pretty easy.

Then the product changed in 2013, and everyone started gaining their weight back including me. I floated around in different networking companies looking for “that” perfect product like I had had before.

Then, one-night January 10, 2018, I was googling best weight loss products, you name it -I was googling it. And somehow, I found Mark Butts and what he was posting or advertising or something. That part is still a blur, I wish I could remember what post it was. My fingers were moving so fast. my heart skipped a beat. Could this be???? I had searched for 5 years and finally found what I had asked for???

For the next few hours I You-Tubed, I googled, I watched videos and read reviews. I sent Mark Butts a quick message asking for more information and I went to bed excited, nervous, happy, scared. I was full of…. I don’t know. It’s hard to describe what I was feeling. I still didn’t hear back from Mark and I had so many questions. So, I went to bed.

I tossed and turned all night, when I woke up in the morning… I walked out to the computer and ordered the product. I just had to!!! What did I have to lose?? Weight??? It was so worth a try.

The product took the longest 9 days to get to me ever (in Canada) Lucky for those in the USA who get their product within days! During that time, I watched more videos, messaged Mark Butts, googled more. It was a long wait.

Then it happened… I got to start Tavala Trim product on January 20, 2018. I had this feeling of ‘coming home‘ being both excited and scared as I wanted this to work for me but also others who were struggling with weight loss. The Trim tasted just like another product I had in the past. There was a little more flavour but that was it. It was perfect! It was like winning the lottery again.

A few days later, I added in the Control. Wow!!! Best combo ever! I had no more cravings period. I would open up the fridge full of food and couldn’t see anything to eat. Same for the cupboard, nothing.

So here I am now, about 9 weeks into Tavala and the products and am down 33.5 pounds. I have changed in so many ways. I eat healthier, I add movement to my day, I drink only a glass of wine a week compared to almost a bottle a day. I eat to fuel my body, no longer just to eat or to feel good. I am still learning along the way and catching some bad habits still. FOOD IS NOT TO BE A TREAT! I am learning not to reward myself with food when I reach a goal….but simply enjoy reaching the goal.

I am excited to see where I will be in the next 6 months. I still have another 24 pounds to go and then baby steps after that. But I don’t see this exciting journey ending anytime soon.
