I have a friend who is a physician (Dr. Deborah) who sends out a monthly newsletter and I recall loving the wording in this particular newsletter, regarding weight gain, weight loss and the discussion of the Ketogenic diet. (https://www.drdeborahmd.com/)

“Have you noticed a slowly increasing waist size? The first sign may be that last year’s bathing suit doesn’t fit, but the steps to follow are much worse. For both men and women, even loose shirts are stretched taut over pregnancy-shaped abdomens, and many folks find they don’t fit comfortably in airplane seats.

IN HER OWN WORDS…

“I have always been the person that does what it takes to survive. I have never been the person to let fear hold me back.
My husband and I and 4 children live a very simple life. Working on ranches, welding, mechanic, mail delivery, fish hatchery, promotional items, construction and even some cattle artificial insemination to make life go smoothly! I was taught to work hard, and life will be easy. (NOT) I have always wanted to lose weight as 4 children left my body a bit different and my energy level was at an all-time, LOW-but I carried forward. Several years ago, a friend sent me a sample of a product that would help me lost weight and gain energy… so of course I tried it and shared with everyone.

That company taught me the dos…. and the DONT’S of Network Marketing!!! I had a 5-year sprint with that company and made some good money. We were the top of the top, money, enrollers, doing network marketing full time and changing lives. We even built lifelong friendship and seriously found our spot in life…. changing people’s lives for health, wealth and lifestyle… PERFECT FIT for what I love to do!

Then my world came crashing down. The company turned to retail and took my entire 5 years of work with them. I could have stayed with them and continue to promote the company, but I would have taken all my down lines money and left them with nothing… while still selling products I believed in. That was a Deal breaker for me. Integrity was everything. I live in a rural area with barely 15000 people and if I had done that my name would have been mud.

I went back to work…. punching a time clock building someone else dreams. My husband, Travis, went back to welding (which absolutely makes him physically ill with the dirty environment) and we begin our journey again. Travis is working 3 jobs and me 2 and we are just trying to survive… Not sure why I had not lost hope, but I did not…

I never did give up on Network Marketing and after shopping for the ‘next thing’…and many samples and hours on the phone with many companies, I could not find that fire I once had. Maybe I was pouting but it was not there.
Then someone introduced me to Tavala (honestly, all the while I was literally rolling my eyes because every company has the same key phrases!)

All I needed was a product that did what it said it did and a company that did what it said it would do.

Honesty and transparency was all I was looking for; however, I had not made up my mind to go all in again.
Tried the Tavala Trim product…. Yep-it had “knock my socks off energy” and I broke a plateau in my weight! Then I tried it on a few friends and their reaction was the same.
One of my go-to told me “Coliese when you go all in and make your move I will know it and I will be on board!” And that was the switch I needed.

I finally found my passion again. What I realized is what I was good at is loving humans… and sharing products that work. But most importantly I was good at loving HUMANS no matter what or how they lived or did for work. I just want to help them to be their best to get thru life as easy and great as possible.

This may sound like a silly question but I am asking it for real. Have you ever thanked your belly fat? I mean, really thought about it and said THANK YOU, “belly fat” for doing your job?

I am doing this right now…and as a result feel a reassurance that as my body cleanses away the toxins, the fat cells will release toxins and shrink, as they won’t be needed. This will mean a transformed and energized body AND also a slimmer version of “today’s me.”

Let’s face it, we live in a toxic world where there are many toxins in our environment (air and water) not to mention our foods and drinks. And that doesn’t count what we put ON our skin that seeps in and can cause havoc!

I recently began a 21-day cleanse and am embracing the process, which includes THANKING my body for doing its job. Along with the body I am looking forward to the feeling of ZEN that comes from honoring ones temple/body and truly taking care of the ‘vessel’ that our soul or spirit is housed in.

Back to the question. Have you ever thanked your Belly Fat? What is the reason you now have more belly fat than before?

What is the JOB of fat have to do with it? Well, for starters, if you have too much belly fat, good chance it is a result of your body CREATING FAT CELLS to STORE toxins in. They can be newly created fat cells or old ones too- the body has no preference. Simply put the housed fat is stored to protect your internal organs. Without these fat cells, your organs would weaken and be susceptible to disease, or dis-ease….not being at your optimal game of health.

You can certainly follow the suggestions to the right on 10 ways to reduce belly fat…and they will help, but I believe a periodic cleanse is important to get your body into optimal balance.

There are many kinds of cleanses from the Master Cleanse, to Standard Process Diet, plus numerous ones from network marketing companies. I happen to be following a cleanse through Divinchi Labs.

The premise is to cleanse and rebuild in a healthy way. Days 1-7 it is predominantly plant based- which is easy as it is the way I prefer to eat anyway. The biggest eliminations for me is no morning coffee or evening cocktails. Other than that, It is pretty straight forward, except the addition of supplements to support the cleanse and rebuild process. I’m also doing what I always know to do but rarely do and that is drinking the correct amount of clean water that my body needs. (Min. of 1/2 my body weight in ounces of water!)

Other things I am doing: I am substituting DiVinchi shakes for our Tavala Weight Loss Protein Shakes and wearing Quantum Relief Strips on various parts of my body to ease with detox symptoms, should they arise. I also use only organic skin care (Tamanu Organics) to assure that I am not allowing chemicals to seep into my skin. So far so good.

SO….. if you are anything like me, and are currently disgusted with the size of your belly or how your muffin top is pouring over the sides of your already tight jeans, lighten up. Love yourself as you are and embrace the change that is only a decision away. Then do whatever it takes to reduce the toxins in your body.

Begin by thanking your fat cells and belly fat for housing the TOXINS that you allowed into your body. Release and forgive. Love yourself as you are in the process and look forward to a healthier, more energetic YOU….clear of toxins!

I believe doing an ‘internal’ cleanse (which also means staying away from outside negativity and useless ‘chaos in the world’) is beneficial. I am motivated primarily to lose inches and lose the bloated feeling that my body is currently experiencing. (A result of too much travel and spirits in the past 4 months!) I also have a vision of myself on my upcoming 61st Birthday and it does not include belly fat! I’d also love to drop 10 lbs. in 21 days and get back to my plant based diet that my body thrives on.

Spring is coming…. What a great time to shed what is no longer serving you? Drop FAT, drop poor habits, perhaps even release other things like PEOPLE, REGRETS, RELATIONSHIPS, COMMITMENTS, “SHOULDS”, things you say Yes to but really want to say No to, etc. and go on to be the ideal you.

Being ourselves- the BEST version of ourselves- is what this life is about. Being ourselves…after all, who else is better qualified?

And it begins with self-care.

Gal to the right did a 2 back to back 21-day cleanses. (not sure which one) Her body released the massive amount of toxins she was carrying around with little effort. She did experience like headaches and achy joints in the beginning but Ishe’d say it was worth it!

As for my before pictures, they are safely stored in our computer i-cloud.
