Day 7- Joy’s TAVALA JOURNEY- fat is melting & my metabolism is in high gear!
OK, so today is day 7 which means I have had a week to get used to good habits for health.
It has nothing to do with a diet.
I made a decision to put myself first and to honor my body the way I tell others to. To work out because you DESERVE to, not because you have to.
To hydrate your body because it is healthy for each and every organ in your body, including your largest organ- your skin.
I always knew this decade was going to be a very special one but had no idea why. I speculated that it would be the time when I was truly on my “LIFE PATH” and doing what I was brought to this lifetime to do and create. I feel that to be true.
Entering my 30’s I decided to enter a body building competition, JUST to PROVE to myself, that a young mom with 2 kids could still commit to oneself, take time for oneself and stick to something that took discipline and drive for excellence. I did- and I actually won!
Entering my 40’s …. nothing much stands out except I was ‘my own boss’, self-employed and a workaholic. I enjoyed some good times but they were a blur as I was often to exhausted to stop and ‘smell the flowers’. Even though I was my ‘own boss’ I missed out on many things with my kids during their jr. high and high school years because of my priorities.
AHHH, my 50’s. I met my soul-mate just before turning 50. Dave was about to turn 50 as well and this decade was full of new beginnings and fun. 
Often times when one is newly married healthy habits, like diet and exercise, become a little less important and a couple of years into our relationship we had both packed on a couple of pounds. (more than a couple!) Luckily with a DVD program called P90X, we turned that around…for several years.
Now you may ask WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH TAVALA AND YOUR 14-DAY CHALLENGE?
Well, at age 60 I hope we have become a little wiser and will commit and stick to doing things for US, rather than for other people.
Inspired by many people on our team, (members and customers) I was so impressed with their weight loss results using the TAVALA TRIM 
that I decided it was time for ME to drop the 15 lbs. of blubber that has accumulated on my body since menopause.
My goal was for weight loss for sure, but moreso for overall health, energy, vitality and to slow down the aging process. My first born granddaughter, Kamaria Joy is now 9. Her mom, my daughter, Kori is 25 years older than she is, then there is me, 25 years older than my daughter…and then there is my mother, Dorothy 25 years older than myself. On my mothers 85th Birthday celebration I looked around and made the decision to take extremely good care of my body (IE MY TEMPLE) so that I age gracefully.
Although my mom has been active and healthy most of her adult life, I want to be able to travel, contribute in life when I am well into my 80s and even 90s. Good genes alone won’t always carry one to aging gracefully. So thanks, Mom, for a glimpse into what I could be like at age 85!
