Are you on Target for Reach YOUR Goals for the 4th Quarter of 2018? No matter what company or business you are with- will you whistle “Dixie” in December or be caught up with the emotions of disappointment? 
Labor Day just passed and for me a great time to reflect on what I have created in the year- especially pertaining to business…. and what kind of results I wish to create in the next 4 months…. until the end of the year- and beyond. My future is important to me!
As I reviewed some of my goals I wrote at the onset of the year and compared them to what I have created I decided to write this blog. This is written for ME and perhaps for anyone else who wants to change your results. My journal in January reminds me NOW, to keep the main thing, just that….the MAIN THING! And in Network Marketing, it is staying in front of people- daily- sharing the products and opportunity…..and collecting their decisions.
So, what will the last 4th months LOOK LIKE for YOUR BUSINESS?
Will you determine your success or will you be the victim of the distractions of life and miss your destination? As many say, you are either driving toward your destination or being moved by the circumstances of life to an unknown destination. Yogi Berra said it best: “If you don’t know where you are going, you will end up somewhere else”.
Five Key Ingredients for Success: Nothing new, but a great reminder!
1. Goals– Know where you are going and determine your target or destination. For myself, that means reaching a certain rank within my company- reaching monetary goals as well as helping team mates achieve their goals.
2. Belief– You’ve got to believe in you, your company, products-but most importantly yourself.
3. Wisdom– You must always seek the wisdom of experience
4. Burning Desire– An attitude to get the job done
5. Time– Life is just like a garden; plant, cultivate and harvest- it’s the cultivation process that causes people stress.
September is a great opportunistic time to reflect, evaluate and reassess one’s goals. Most people, however, are focused on the distractions of life instead of their personal destination…..and let’s face it summer tends to distract even the most dedicated entrepreneurs.
Set your course and know your destination by establishing your goals. What fuels your soul? Wherever you are now- you CAN reach your goals if you stay on course.
S.M.A.R.T. = Goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. In other words, in the goal setting process make sure you use the SMART system.
Reviewing what I SAID I wanted & what I have actually created in 2018- today was a real WAKE UP CALL for me.
Back on track- I will be whistling “DIXIE” in December, will you?
