The industry of Network Marketing attracts people of all ages- from 18 to those who are already retired. This is one ‘business’ that is truly a level playing field and doesn’t require being a certain age, or having experience or a certain educational background, being a certain gender or possessing wealth to get started. The only thing a person needs is a true desire to go after what it is that they want in life, and be focused and dedicated to the process of sharing the products and opportunity of the company they are affiliated with…..(and here’s the key) to share with those who are interested and ready. One of the largest segments of population who are joining network marketing companies are the BABY BOOMERS!
Perhaps because we just turned 60 we are noticing a lot of people who are ‘baby boomers’ are digging in deeper than ever with their desire to create a lasting lifestyle at this stage in life. There are many reasons and we’ve had some great conversations with many ‘boomers’ in the past several months.
Many of us are wanting to travel to places while we are physically capable and have the energy!
A survey last year by the Insured Retirement Institute found that 40% of baby boomers have nothing saved for retirement. And a Gallup poll revealed that nearly four in 10 Americans believe they’ll work beyond the official retirement age of 65.
A pretty grim retirement picture, right?
As I began thinking more and more about baby boomers in network marketing I stumbled upon several articles that I thought had useful information.
Network Marketing Baby Boomers are Generating a Second Income
One of the biggest trends today comes from Network Marketing Baby Boomers. The Baby Boomers desire for health and longer living is on the rise. In 2011, 13% of the US population is age 65 or older
There are 75 million people in the “baby boomer” generation born from 1946 through 1964

Baby boomers today represent 28% of the US population
The Boomers spending power, every year, reaches to 2.1 trillion dollars. More than any other x-y-z generation.
As you can see here from a few of these demographics the baby boomers are in control and they are looking for ways to live longer, look good and feel better. Network Marketing Baby Boomers are on the rise!
The realization is that the network marketing industry is going to keep growing at a significant pace because of the network marketing baby boomers. My question to you is, are you going to be one of the smart people who realize this trend and use it to attain some sort of financial freedom?
Day in and day out we see baby boomers working at odd places like: Wal-Mart, McDonalds and other non-fulfilling jobs. And why are they doing this? Well for most it’s because they need another stream of income. Living out your retirement years shouldn’t need to be like that.
