This is one of my most FUN blogs that I have put together as I’m sharing a fun journey about Shelby Vinson who has challenged herself to fit BACK into her wedding dress that she wore when she got married almost 11 years ago.

This is ‘Blog segment’ #1. As you may guess from the title, Shelby is inspired to fit BACK into her beautiful wedding dress that she wore almost 11 years ago….

This is ” In her own words”…. (however I’ll interject from time to time in blue)

Shelby Vinson, AKA Shelby Dietrich, Born April 1980, Houston, TX.

(I looked up and found Shelby was born April 25 so is a Taurus. According to one Astrology source, being a Taurus born on April 25th, you are affectionate and committed. You are the one in your circle of friends, to come up with the quirkiest ideas.

You don’t take too much time with decisions and often go by impulse. You have big expectations in life!” That pretty much summarizes what I already know about Shelby by doing this blog.

What Shelby doesn’t say is she is a pistol of energy, with contagious optimism! We have no doubt that she will reach her goal as she is very driven…and for her own reasons…not because someone told her to!

“I graduated Texas A&M University 2002 and was 100 % hyper-focused on my career. Upon graduation I was one of eight selected in the world to enter the Zale Corporation Merchandising training program. By the time I was 28, I was the Cartier Buyer for all Neiman Marcus stores across the country and married to Rich Vinson.

We lived in a nice part of Dallas, in a house with a pool, surrounded by great friends.

I walked away from my career 3 weeks before I turned 30 when I became a mommy to Katherine (Katy) Vinson and then another beautiful daughter, Leah Vinson, was born 3 years later.

I’m now 38. Pregnancy was not kind to my body. I currently weigh 211 lbs. and that IS 19 pounds lighter than when I started Tavala 1 month ago!!

I’m on a roll. I don’t want to lose momentum. So, here’s my proposal: The Wedding Dress Challenge!

I was married October 27, 2007 in Galveston, TX

Prior to my wedding I crazy dieted and remember weighing roughly 160ish pounds. I’ve never been a “small-size”, but I do remember feeling comfortable in that skin. Honestly, when I think about or dream about myself, THAT’S what I look like. Odd? I see my true 211-pound self in pictures. That’s when I cringe and think, “What happened?”

Last October, Rich and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. This summer, I was approached by my life-long friend and bridesmaid from my wedding, Kara Bagley, about Tavala. She introduced me to a product that is already changing my life and will be the catalyst to my goal of fitting into my wedding dress.

I don’t want to ever think of myself as someone that “…let themselves go…”, especially after being so focused in my 20s.

I recently asked a woman on our team if she could share her success with another person who is looking to lose weight and feel great.

Here is her advice and it is spot on with what I would have suggested, only she added the MY FITNESS PAL APP, something I do not use. https://www.myfitnesspal.com/

1. Down load the My Fitness Pal app and enter your info. Stay around the calorie intake it gives you.

2. Eat every 2-3 hours. If you are only eating once or twice a day, your metabolism is moving at a snails pace, if moving at all. You need to make it move by eating. (see below, by adding the Tavala TRIM you can also boost your metabolism)

3. Watch how many carbs you eat. Eat lots of raw or cooked veggies. Veggies must become your way of life… learn to love them. And get your protein in as well.

4. Add 30 mins. of movement a day. Even if you have to break it up or two or three sections . If you are out of shape, begin with walking.

5. Drink water!! Drink water until you are pretty much peeing clear!

6. Put YOU first!!

The number 1 reason why people quit is because they only look at the scale. Don’t only look at the scale, measure yourself and keep track. Markers are more important than calories so make sure you are eating. When you lose the weight you desire, you want to look like you loss that weight or more. DON’T RUSH IT, you want to lose fat and not just water and muscle mass. Stick with this and we know you’ll reach your weight loss goals.

It’s fun to share stories like Owena’s – we’re sure you will be inspired with how she transformed many areas of her life in less than a year.

“Life is funny and full of surprises! Approximately two years prior to being introduced to Tavala Trim I began a journey to lose weight. I started following the “Prestige Fit Body 8-week Fat Loss Plan.” It was strictly nutritional and involved very little exercise. I lost 50 pounds and felt great.

However, filing for divorce took an emotional toll on me and I ended up gaining 25 of those pounds back! My energy was low, and I needed help!

Why is it that some people are getting faster and more dramatic results drinking the PURPLE Tavala Trim drink, than others? Like most things, everyone is different and there are many factors. There are also several things you can do to accelerate your weight loss.

I recall this question coming up when the product was first introduced back in November 2016. Some of my customers (now friends or business associates) lost 10-16 lbs. in their first week. TRUE but not the average!

I have to say that I really envied those people…and yes, and even had a pang of jealousy!

While others lost 2-4 lbs. in that same time frame -I’d say the average weight loss in the first week drinking Trim was between 6-7 lbs.

Think about that…that is FAST! I remember doing Weight Watchers years ago and being thrilled if I lost 1-2 lbs. in one week!

It’s interesting when we try to guess who will have the most dramatic or fastest weight loss results because we are never right. It really doesn’t always mean that it is the person who has more weight to lose.

So what can you do to ACCELERATE your success rate using Tavala Trim? Here are some suggestions that others have shared with us:

Comsume more water. Typically it is recommended to drink 1/2 your weight in ounces. Example, if you weigh 160 lbs. you should consume at least 80 ounces of water. INCREASE that for quicker results. When your body is breaking down fat there is metabolic waste. The water will flush your body and waste and your body will be well hydrated so that your liver and kidneys can do their jobs in the body.
Exercise. Although it is not crucial to lose weight while drinking the TRIM (MANY people admitted they did nothing else and still lost between 20-50 lbs. in a 2-5 month period.) Those who DO exercise burn fat and tone along with increase the speed of their weight loss. Moving the body compliments the TRIM. You’ll feel good on the TRIM (it makes you feel ‘happy’) but combine exercise and you’ll feel unstoppable.
Add Tavala CONTROL to your program. It will ‘address’ weight loss at another level and help balance blood sugar levels as well as lower cholesterol and triglycerides. Bottom line, those who add this other supplement get better and quicker results AND also avoid plateaus.
Add a small piece of the Quantum Relief Strip behind each ear. I know it sounds crazy but people who have done this experience a bump in weight loss. Perhaps it has something to do with the meridians. That I don’t know.

Kaylene R Afolau- “My Story”. I hope it inspires you! There IS hope for a healthy and natural solution for your health!

At 3 months old I was diagnosed with Spinalmenengitis. A couple other babies died that night but God spared me.

At 12 yrs. old the Dr. diagnosed me with Fibrosis (due to tearing feeling in joints and ligaments ) and put me on huge horse pills of Darvocet.

At the age of 17 I got pregnant. I had horrible back pain and the Dr. Said “You’re just pregnant- Stop complaining.”!!! My son inhaled the amniotic fluid and was blue. He had a severe infection. 1 wk. later I found out I had an Acute and Chronic appendicitis that could have killed my son (Nehemiah). I had it removed 2 wks. after giving birth.

Following I had several Laporoscomies (exploratory surgeries) in which they found I had Endometriosis (the inside of my uterus was growing like a web and strangling my colon.) So they had to burn it.

1 yr. later I was pregnant with twins and lost them. It was devasting. For several years I continued to have surgeries burning the endometriosis.

In my 20’s I experienced Restless Legs, more pain in joints and was diagnosed with Ruematoid Arthritis. The Dr told me my hands would soon cripple up and eventually I would be wheelchair bound. They put me on strong pain meds.

At the age of 28 I started having a lot of trouble with my bowels. A lot of tugging and pulling muscles in my back and groin. I ended up having 2 Sphincterotomies (cutting of the muscles that releases your bowels) 2 Hemroidectomies (lg. blood vessels that protrude inside and out of the rectum) and 2 Ulcers removed from the lining as well.

A yr. later I had A&P Surgery which consisted of during and tiring my Pelvis muscles, Rectal and bladder and putting in a Bladdersling. It was a very long road of recovery.

I continued to try and have more babies as I always wanted 3 or 4, but I just couldn’t carry to full term. My husband at the time didn’t understand why I didn’t want to be touched and why I had to be on so much medication. He told me “I wish you would have died during surgery”. I felt terrible that I couldn’t give him a child. He became very verbally abusive and treated me like I was not good enough for him. We eventually divorced within 2 yrs. of getting married.

The drs. put me on Antidepressants, pain meds, sleep meds, blood pressure meds, muscle relaxer, etc. I had to work though because I had a son to care for. I eventually added Alcohol to the mix.
At 32 I was in a car accident that blew out 4 discs in my neck which resulted in surgery.

At 35 I accomplished my goal of becoming a Foster parent to mentally challenged boys. I was so excited. But then those dreams we’re crushed when… .
At 36 I crushed all the bones in my right leg and underwent 3 surgeries. Which resulted in more pain meds and long recovery.

I continued my education in the Foster care profession while in recovery and took in more kids when I was able to walk again.
In 2010, I was 38 yrs old. I met my wonderful Makeiomani Afolau and married just 5 weeks later. We we’re so happy, but he wondered why I was on so many meds. Of course I explained it all but nobody really understands unless they have been thru what you have.

If that wasn’t enough a year later, at 39, I was run over by a 2 tin flatbed concrete truck. Ugh, It had crushed my knees, hurt my back more and was another long recovery, and yes with more meds. When you receive your sample let us know!
