Meet Jim and Teri Stull. Dynamic duo!

In their own words….well, actually in “Teri’s words”!

“In life so many people have their good times and bad times. Some people struggle with finances, careers, etc. but for us it was our weight loss struggle that had us singing the blues. On the positive note, it is what ultimately brought us together.

My life and my husband Jim’s was no exception. Throughout both our lives we have gained the same weight over and over again and then some. You know, you lose 20 lbs. but end up gaining 25, and it goes on and on, especially as we age.

I feel like I have dieted the majority of my life and experienced what many do as a roller coaster ride…. and then there is Jim’s story with weight gain- true….his was different than mine. Jim had been a collegiate athlete playing college football! He didn’t have an emotional eating issue like I had when we met but he had gained weight as he slowed down his activity in the gym or in working out.

I’ll never forget when we met. It was 2008 and to our amazement we were both involved in a network marketing company which just happened to be a weight loss company. Being overweight, no matter the reason, can make a person get depressed and discouraged! Can you relate? As an example Jim would go to the doctor and be told he needed to go on a diet and start the whole process over again and his -and ultimately OUR -life would change based on ‘diet’. OMG!

Flashback to the year 2001… Jim decided that he was tired of his stressful -yet successful- business life as an insurance specialist and financial planner and told wife at the time, (no,not me!) that he was moving onto something more he was more passionate about that can utilize his skills and relationships and also where he could be his own boss. Guess what? Network Marketing found him and he was a natural. Customers/Clients/ believed in Jim and wanted what he had discovered…. a business/company that helped people get healthy and guess what? Lose weight!!!! To say Jim was a success with this company is an understatement!

Many say he was called the ‘Golden Goose’ as whatever he touched turned to gold. Jim built a huge organization of 150,000 people but ended up selling it to his upline when he and his wife got divorced. The positive side of this is once you have experienced success in this industry, you know it is possible.

Even though we believed in this industry and wanted to improve our health (and yes, lose weight) timing is crucial. In March of 2017 a friend (Jennifer Dillon) from our previous company reached out to share a new product for weight loss and energy. She told me it was a thermogenic drink, boosted the metabolism, gave energy and focus and also helps suppress cravings and the appetite. Are you kidding? This is something both Jim and I have been looking for all along. Easy-peesy- She reached out to ME, not Jim as let’s just say he would not have been open after trying so many products over the years….including with our previous company.

I began using the Tavala TRIM sample that Jennifer shared. She was afraid to talk to Jim, as I was – why? Well, we had 10 other products that were supposed to do the same thing in our cupboard. All of them were not palpable. Jennifer knowing me and knowing that I would be more open and asked me if I wanted more energy and lose weight. Of course I said yes! I purchased the Trim and started my healthy journey with Tavala. Within a week I had lost five pounds and another week I had lost ten pounds.

Jim asked me what I was doing I told him I was just walking the dogs. I must admit for the first time in my life I didn’t have to diet to lose weight and it was easy! I could eat a piece of pizza or eat a piece of pie without gaining the weight back. TRIM delivers! Cravings were gone!

D-day was April 1, 2017 for Jim- I wanted my husband back! Not only had he gained weight but he was showing signs of dementia. I then (reluctantly) told Jim about the Trim and he literally told me “if this doesn’t work he would give Jennifer a piece of his mind!” I gave Jim a whole stick of Trim wanting to make sure he felt something. Boy did he feel it!

“In Her Own Words”…

My name is Chantell Varence, a native of the beautiful island of Nassau, Bahamas.
I am a self-motivated, self-driven 41 year-old single Mompreneur with three adorable children; my son is an 18-year old soccer athlete and I have two incredibly talented trilingual daughters, ages 10 and 9.

Growing up as a child, I have always found myself motivating, inspiring, and encouraging my peers to tap into their inner gifts, which will eventually ignite a fire inside of them to pursue their God-given purpose, which I believe would someday make one “wealthy.” Believe me, I did not understand what my purpose in life was either, until I discovered a world called “Network Marketing” in 1999, after having my son. That is when I first heard of the industry.

I never imagine having a child out of wedlock at the age of 22, would have brought me to a place called “Purpose.” I was scared, broke and broken, and most significantly, I was disappointed with myself. I was between a rock and a hard place, and was left in the valley of decision. I was scared because I felt as if I would bring so much pain, shame and disappointment to my mother, because I got pregnant a few months after returning home from college after receiving my bachelor’s degree, and I did not give myself time to pursue my dream to become a Motivational Speaker.

I was broke and broken because, I did not have a full-time job coupled with the fact that I needed to make a decision as to whether or not I would abort my child and not hurt my mom. This whole ordeal made me question myself as I felt that I had not only disappointed myself, but I had also failed those that believed in me.

Six weeks after delivering my son, who is affectionately called “RJ”, I was hired full-time as a Computer Programmer in a government agency in The Bahamas. I took the job just to regain my grace with my mom. Not one day went by without me feeling unfulfilled while working 9 to 5 because I was just collecting a paycheck. (No passion!) But one day, I was on the bus and a stranger said these words to me, “You look like a striving young lady, would you be open to me showing you how I make extra money part-time” and my reply was “Sure.”

That night she came by my mom’s house and introduced me to the Network Marketing industry, and to this day, whenever I see Ms. Denise White, I hug and kiss her, because she rescued me from that place called broken. This industry of Network Marketing has brought my relationship with my mother closer and I am most grateful. In that moment, I discovered that many persons are searching to find something different and more fulfilling in their lives.

We all join this industry for different reasons, and for this, we must be sensitive and have an open ear to hear what people are silently saying in most cases. Some join to connect with like-minded people like themselves, some join to foster a better relationship in their marriage, family and/or for personal development, some join for tax-deductions, some join for the money, and sometimes some people may join just to be accepted or to feel as if they belong. Then, on the other hand, some people join because it is the only family they have got. You get to meet such a diverse, cultural and ethnic group of people from all walks of life.

As for me, here is why I love this industry of Network Marketing so much! Network Marketing saved my relationship with my mother and has brought us some much closer. We have fostered a relationship as a result of working together in the initial network marketing company, and it is doing the same for me and my son. This was a dream come true for me. I always wanted a bond with my mom, but it was shattered after my parents got a divorce and I became rebellious as a result of that. All I ever wanted was a happy family, a mother-daughter relationship and my dad coaching me through life. Hence, I am determined and I am fueled daily to create such a legacy for my children to remember me by, and to empower them to become entrepreneurs as well. I am my kids #1 fan and supporter. TIME and FINANCIAL FREEDOM are important to me, and because of this vehicle called TAVALA, I was able to resign from my job of 18 ½ years, and now I work my TAVALA business full-time.

God has blessed me with a supportive mother and children always by my side and cheering me on. Also, I have outstanding servant-leaders as my uplines, Dave and Joy, Richard and Kathy, a group of hard-working, self-determined individuals on my team. I cannot forget to add a thank you to the man who was determined to get a “yes” that I would join his Tavala team. I kept my word with Hindel that I will sign up after 2 months, so for him, I am forever grateful that he shared this opportunity with me. Thank you all so much for believing in me. I love you all.

It’s with pleasure to introduce you to “Powerhouse” Zeth Francis, from the Bahamas.

In her own words….

“The Senator” is what they call me in my professional life & throughout the islands of The Bahamas, but my birth name is “Zeth” meaning “investigator,” “Appointed & “the replacement.”

When one was given a name with so many significance, it’s with conviction I MUST succeed at anything I do. Nevertheless, not in a million years would I have thought I would be taking weight loss supplements. Especially, strangely since as a teenager I’ve always taken products to make me GAIN weight (Crazy I know).

Growing up on 2 small islands Nassau & Freeport (Bahamas) I became a teenage mother forcing me at a young ago to be an entrepreneur.

About a year leading up to the September 11th tragedy, I had owned two successful businesses and due to the halt of visiting tourists, resulting in the downturn in the economy in our country, I was forced to closed one business in 2001 & the other in 2012. Needless to say I had to MAKE something happen, so I became a talk show host & got job as a Quality Analyst. Well one day things changed & I became unemployed, struggling with trying to stay above water selling clothing and doing whatever I could do.

But it physically, mentally & emotionally took a toll on my life, laying around the house eating and drinking everything I shouldn’t I had gained a lot of weight. Its amazing to see how I watched my body changed 3 times in my lifetime- once at 15 during my teenage pregnancy, twice after my daughter at age 36 & thirdly due to being unemployed.

Then one day my cousin Natasha called me and said she had a new Weight Loss product called Tavala Trim that she wanted me to try & how I can also get paid.

Needless to say I was NOT interested, but started sending her clients who I knew wanted to lose weight. Then a few weeks later- to my surprise as I checked my emails, I was like ‘ WDH’ is this? In her Own Words!

“I have been a caregiver for 15 years caring for kids . I have worked for several day cares (in the Bahamas) and unfortunately in November, 2013 the last daycare I worked for close it’s doors due to the decline in business activity. This left myself and 4 other persons jobless. It was a hard pill to swallow for me and my husband, we also had our 1 year old son to care for . As a result all of the bills we had fell on me husband Travis.

So I became a stay at home mom and started to home-school our son until he was about 3 years old. And at that time I knew that my son needed to work on his socialization skills so we send him to school to be around other kids his age . In that space of time I had a lot of people approaching me and asking me to care for their babies at my house. So in March, 2015 I started to do a little daycare at home – which was a good thing because it brought in some cash to help pay off some of our bills.

In October 2017 I was introduced to a company called Tavala by Natasha Russell while I was at her salon. While I was sitting down waiting for my nail tech to finish up a client so I can get my nails refill she came up to me and began to tell me about Tavala and products. I remember I just sat there with all my walls up saying to myself you are not going to get me to sign up for this! (famous last words!).

My initial thought was “I will not allow you all to scam me” but I listened to everything she had to say but honestly it all went in one ear and out the other ear! Then my intuition kicked in! That little voice said to me “How do you know that it’s a scam? How do you know that they will not pay you? How will you know if you don’t try it for yourself?” So I told her sign me up. I signed up knowing that I have never done anything like this before- in fact I didn’t know what the first thing that I should do let alone if the products work or anything. Luckily Natasha is a well-seasoned networker and has been a great support as I am learning. One thing I love with Tavala is you can still EARN WHILE YOU LEARN!

In the middle of October I began to take the products and as soon as I started taking the product everything that she told me the product would do it did… I saw the weight loss and the energy boost almost immediately. Also I started to cut back on the amount of food I would eat throughout the day. The TRIM definitely helps suppress the appetite and cravings! Once I had my personal experience it was right then I knew that I needed to work the business.

I’ve never done network marketing before- Tavala is a first for me and from what people have shared with me, I feel fortunate to be part of such a great company and team -especially as someone new to the industry.

I broke down the walls that had me scared of network marketing so now that those walls are gone I am going to use this for my family financial freedom. My husband is studying to be a pilot now so Tavala is going to help me pay his school fees and allow us to save for the future.”

Meet Natasha Russell from the Bahamas….

In her own words:

“After 13 years being employed at our local casino as a dealer (in the Bahamas) they decided to close the doors leaving me and many others out of work. That was a hard financial blow to our family as I was used to making good money. However, the one thing that lacked with that job was time freedom….I worked long hours!

People often say “Timing is important” and that is so true! It was at that time that my passion for network marketing came to life!

Fortunately for me, I was introduced to Tavala by a contact in my cell phone, Chantell Varence, whom I didn’t even know personally, but who offered to send me a 3-day sample pack of the Tavala Trim. (Lesson here, don’t be afraid to offer people a sample of the Trim!)

I was blown away by my results, so without hesitation I asked her to please enroll me. To my surprise, I learned that it is FREE to join Tavala. That’s right- zero joining fee!

Soon after I then began taking the products, in particular the Tavala Trim product, I lost 25 pounds in just 2 months. People began to notice my weight loss which made it very easy and fun to share. One of my biggest supporters of my weight loss was my husband, Leroy!

My husband was not a fan of the industry (or should I be blunt? He hated network marketing!) but after seeing my results he’s now my biggest supporter. It was always my dream to one day see him appreciate and believe in the industry the way I do!

I have been involved in many different companies that come to the Bahamas, and even became a leader in many of those companies… it just seemed to work that way. With the assistance of our Team, in particular Richard Shafer who lives in New Jersey and Chantel Varence, Leroy and I are confident that we’ll reach new financial heights with Tavala.

As I look back I realize that when one door closes it offers the chance for other opportunities to enter our life. Now that I am enjoying financial (and health) success with Tavala I can clearly see that my job with the casino stole all my time- I even worked 3 and 4 doubles a week to make it happen for me and my family. Now I own my time and have many more choices in life.

Also, I am happy to say that my dream has come true. Tavala made a believer out of Leroy!

In Reggie’s own words:

“I use to battle depression a lot, wake up crying for no reason, stay in bed for days at time! It was a dark and lonely place to be.

A friend, Richard Shafer, “talked me into” trying a 3-Day Sample of a product called TRIM in hopes that it would help my depression, my moods and help me lose weight.

I’m happy to say that I have had not one breakdown since being on Trim! It really is a mood elevator-among other things.

Meet Laura Kimball. Her story with “Tavala Trim” is inspiring. Who do YOU KNOW who can benefit?

It is our pleasure to share her story. In her own words…..

“I never really had a problem with my weight growing up. It didn’t start until after I had my first son. I really packed on the pounds. My midwife told me that gaining weight was OK because I was young and I would lose it. She lied!

Not only did I not lose the weight I gained during my pregnancy, but I added more weight on through the years. It wasn’t until years later, when my own kids were grown and gone, when my stepchildren had moved out on their own, and when we were done housing foreign exchange students and foster children, that I decided to take care of myself.

Through the years I had exercised and try different diet products as well as different diets- but nothing really seem to work.

November 2016 I decided to have gastric sleeve surgery. This seems like it may be an easy way out but it’s no easy ride. I was able to lose almost all the weight that I had wanted to but those last few pounds were stubborn.

I was scared to death that some of the weight would come back. I have seen several of my friends who also had the surgery put back most of their weight -if not all of it plus some. I was not going to fall into those statistics!

I decided to add Tavala TRIM into my daily regimen to not only lose the last few pounds I had to lose, but to keep off any weight that may try to creep back on.

Since starting Trim I was able to lose those last 8 pounds as well as ward off any new ones. I have only been with Tavala for two months now but I’m looking forward to not only the freedom of being at my goal weight but also the freedom from financial burdens.

I’m currently in the process of paying off all of my debt so I can fill one last dream. My dream is to stay home full-time and be the wife my husband deserves. We want to be free to travel whenever and wherever we want. I believe that Tavala will be the answer to that dream .”

You may already know Darlene Carson from a previous blog on her amazing story and success with Tavala Trim and weight loss, but if not, let me share it briefly with an update that will certainly give you hope and inspire you.

In Darlene’s own words. “About 18 months ago, I entered a very dark period due to some personal issues. I gained about 45 lbs. and pretty much never left my house. I went to my doctor for help and he gave me his canned response, “I do not prescribe for appetite control.” I was hurt and angry that he did not hear my desperation.

As life would have it, a colleague from another business offered me free samples from his new company only open 3 months. Free? I will try free.

He sent me three samples but after one day of using Tavala Trim, I called him back and said, “Sign me up. This stuff works!”

That day I was back on my Ketogenic Diet that had evaded me for over a year! My energy was up and I had lost 14 lbs. by the end of the week. I know that sounds impossible but combining Tavala with the Ketogenic diet is synergistic magic!

So, this is my new passion. (TAVALA) I love it. It has given me my life back. If you are not a carboholic, you do not understand what it is like to have your life controlled by sugar and simple carbohydrates. Well, I am free!

FAST FORWARD: I thought I should explain lest you think we throw around $1,000 bills around at our house.

In 2007, My husband had a massive hemorrhagic stroke at the age of 59. We went from 2 incomes to NO INCOME!

He went on SS but at age 55, I had a long wait. In the meantime, we used all our savings, our 401k’s and sold off what we could.

We have survived 11 years— my husband is still severely disabled but a happy guy who loves God and his grandchildren and I have been his caregiver 24/7. 🤗

But we used EVERYTHING we had to stay in our house and meet our bills.

I tried another MLM before Tavala—cost me $1,000 to join and didn’t make any money over 4 years. (My taxman called it a hobby)😤

I have been with Tavala for a year and I have slowly but surely paid off our Credit Cards that kept us alive for the past ten years.

As soon as that last payment is done, we will begin rebuilding our savings.
