There are not enough words to share what Tavala products, specifically the Trim, have done for me. In September 2017, I was at my lowest mentally and physically that I have ever been. I sat in a dark room deeply depressed and miserable. I had been that way for a LONG time.

I heard about a product called Tavala Trim from a dear friend of mine, Darlene Carson. She had wanted me to try this since February 2017 and I kept saying NO NO NO. Wasn’t interested. I finally gave the depression and despair over to God and he revealed to me that I needed to give Tavala a chance. Wow what a difference Trim has made in my life.

You see there are some other circumstances very few people are aware of. I had gone thru gastric bypass surgery in 2005 and afterwards, just about everything I ate came right back up. For 6 straight months, I tossed up everything. It was miserable. I did lose approximately 150 lbs. during this time–GREAT you say. But the second I started eating, I gained all but 50 lbs. back. That was the main contributing factor in the depression. I had gone thru too much to allow myself to do this.

WHY was I doing this? I craved sweets constantly and something salty–potato chips. Even though I kept my calorie intake down, the weight just kept going up. I felt completely alone in that journey as well meaning family & friends constantly said, “well if you would eat right or if you would exercise or if…if…if….”….. Not necessarily true.

You see I have lupus and cannot exercise. Years ago I would end up in the hospital after trying to exercise. I didn’t fry foods, I didn’t keep sweets in the house, I tried to keep the intake to a minimum but I could not.

Thank God and thank my loving friend for introducing me to Tavala. To date I’ve lost 44 lbs. and I’ve lost many many inches. My clothes are literally falling off. Walking thru the kitchen the other day, I actually felt my pants fall to my ankles. My daughter and I just laughed.

What a wonderful feeling (but glad it happened at home). I now take the Trim, Control, and Protein Shake religiously (Transformation Pack) and I’m TRANSFORMING my life with Tavala.

If I had a dollar for every person who asked me this question: “Will Tavala Trim help me lose weight?” I’d be wealthy. It’s a common question. Face it, we live in a society where people ARE overweight, over-stressed and need help with burnt out adrenals. I came across a page in an old journal today, something I had written several years ago, and decided to publish it here in a blog. This is after several people on our team asked me “What is your story”? Well, this is not about our company or a personal transformation or a testimonial, but it will give you a glimpse into a little bit about who I am…and why “JOY”.

Ironically on Saturday our book, “In Their Own Words” arrived, all 1500 copies, first edition. It is a book highlighting stories of people on our Tavala team who have overcome ‘something’ worth sharing and how they proceeded to go on to create a new life for themselves. I just LOVE highlighting others successes and shining the spot light on them!

A little about me and how I think….

I believe…… We create daily in all we do, the thoughts we have, the pictures we put in our minds, the words we speak both to ourselves and to others and the people we associate with. Each thought- hopefully creates positive experiences in our lives. I choose to think positive thoughts and associate only with conscious people of high integrity, who are also doing their best to make the world a better place.

It was just a month before my 47th birthday (I’m 61 years old now) that I looked in the mirror and decided I not only desired but deserved more joy in my life. I also wanted to find a business or career I could have the time to enjoy….while rediscovering MY new FOUND JOY.

So what did I do? I ended a home-based career in event planning (For 10 years it had been my dream job but by this time it was something I no longer enjoyed), I moved, changed my last name, began using my middle name JOY, rather than Deborah and lastly I had a small “joy” tattoo put on my body….something to remind me of the emotion of JOY!

This is when I did the following:

I am a connector, a net-worker …. Not so much a network marketer (although I am that now!) but I’ve always enjoyed bringing people together, with ease. I ask “What are you looking for? What makes your heart sing? What are your talents and how can you share them?” and then I put their answers into action.

Do you know that the majority of things people are searching for can be found in this wonderful career or even ‘hobby’ called Network Marketing? (Meeting people, More travel, More income, Opportunity to use your skills and leadership, Opportunity to teach and inspire others, Inspire and Motivate others, Time freedom, Leaving a legacy, More quality family time, etc.)

I remember being told at a very young age that I am a natural ‘connector’. I always wondered what that meant and also how one could make a living (or make a LIFE) ‘connecting’. In my early 30’s I was introduced to network marketing. Connecting with others is something that comes easy and natural and that IS the thread of building a team while working together.

Part of the journey begins with SELF CARE…. And by taking care of ourselves we are then capable to assist and care for the well-being of other people. If you aren’t nurturing yourself, doing what you love and replenishing your ‘energy’ then you won’t be able to be your biggest gift to the world.

Yes, I now go by my middle name “Joy” but I was born Deborah Joy Edgerton. My last name has changed several times throughout my adult journey called LIFE, and today I embrace my newfound freedom of being a powerful woman of 61, who aspires to help, connect, network with and inspire others to live their lives with JOY!

My background?

I have been a personal trainer and transformational life coach, natural body builder, nutrition enthusiast, and a health advocate who happens to share and sell products that transform lives. I get up each and every day hoping to inspire others to both take control of their health and also to discover and create the life that makes their hearts sing.

My greatest joys? Being a mother of two adult children and four granddaughters; a wife to my husband, Dave, who is also my business partner. My life continues to evolve and I am learning daily to live more in the present! Living with gratitude for all things I already have helps attract MORE wonderful things into my life. I believe we manifest things in our lives.

I love sharing success stories …. and here’s one on a friend that I was introduced to over 15 years ago. Kanane Felo.

Our paths recently crossed when she contacted me for two reasons:

She had seen on Facebook that I was talking about a product that helps you lose weight and have more energy!

IN HER OWN WORDS…

“I have always been the person that does what it takes to survive. I have never been the person to let fear hold me back.
My husband and I and 4 children live a very simple life. Working on ranches, welding, mechanic, mail delivery, fish hatchery, promotional items, construction and even some cattle artificial insemination to make life go smoothly! I was taught to work hard, and life will be easy. (NOT) I have always wanted to lose weight as 4 children left my body a bit different and my energy level was at an all-time, LOW-but I carried forward. Several years ago, a friend sent me a sample of a product that would help me lost weight and gain energy… so of course I tried it and shared with everyone.

That company taught me the dos…. and the DONT’S of Network Marketing!!! I had a 5-year sprint with that company and made some good money. We were the top of the top, money, enrollers, doing network marketing full time and changing lives. We even built lifelong friendship and seriously found our spot in life…. changing people’s lives for health, wealth and lifestyle… PERFECT FIT for what I love to do!

Then my world came crashing down. The company turned to retail and took my entire 5 years of work with them. I could have stayed with them and continue to promote the company, but I would have taken all my down lines money and left them with nothing… while still selling products I believed in. That was a Deal breaker for me. Integrity was everything. I live in a rural area with barely 15000 people and if I had done that my name would have been mud.

I went back to work…. punching a time clock building someone else dreams. My husband, Travis, went back to welding (which absolutely makes him physically ill with the dirty environment) and we begin our journey again. Travis is working 3 jobs and me 2 and we are just trying to survive… Not sure why I had not lost hope, but I did not…

I never did give up on Network Marketing and after shopping for the ‘next thing’…and many samples and hours on the phone with many companies, I could not find that fire I once had. Maybe I was pouting but it was not there.
Then someone introduced me to Tavala (honestly, all the while I was literally rolling my eyes because every company has the same key phrases!)

All I needed was a product that did what it said it did and a company that did what it said it would do.

Honesty and transparency was all I was looking for; however, I had not made up my mind to go all in again.
Tried the Tavala Trim product…. Yep-it had “knock my socks off energy” and I broke a plateau in my weight! Then I tried it on a few friends and their reaction was the same.
One of my go-to told me “Coliese when you go all in and make your move I will know it and I will be on board!” And that was the switch I needed.

I finally found my passion again. What I realized is what I was good at is loving humans… and sharing products that work. But most importantly I was good at loving HUMANS no matter what or how they lived or did for work. I just want to help them to be their best to get thru life as easy and great as possible.

So here I am at a weight I am very comfortable with and I have quit the 8-5 to build my Legacy. Travis is working until I can hit some financial marks that we can be comfortable at. One thing is for sure I believe network marketing is the way to go … when you find the product you can believe in! Tavala has those products.

I have no training… just life lessons and it has taught me to help others and everything takes care of itself.

It’s fun to share stories like Owena’s – we’re sure you will be inspired with how she transformed many areas of her life in less than a year.

In Her Own Words:

“Life is funny and full of surprises! Approximately two years prior to being introduced to Tavala Trim I began a journey to lose weight. I started following the “Prestige Fit Body 8-week Fat Loss Plan.” It was strictly nutritional and involved very little exercise. I lost 50 pounds and felt great.

However, filing for divorce took an emotional toll on me and I ended up gaining 25 of those pounds back! My energy was low, and I needed help!

January of last year I received samples of the Tavala Trim from Chris, my former weight loss coach, who I had previously worked with to lose my 50 pounds. He and his wife La-Shrana were testing the product with friends and clients and they loved the feedback they were getting. Also, both were losing inches as well as weight in the short time they had been drinking 1 Trim drink per day.

Initially I wasn’t overly impressed as I didn’t feel the extra energy or appetite suppression that I expected. I was expecting more based on what they shared. I had given 2 of the Trim samples to a friend and she loved it and then when I ran out, I realized that I really DID miss the energy it provided. I needed the Trim! At that time, I was in dire need of energy and focus as I had a toddler around and a full-time job.

Meet Jennifer Camacho, singer, ukulele player and well-known performer in Hawaii- also known as the “Blonde Hawaiian”. It is with pleasure that we share Jennifer’s story.

In her own words:

“A year ago I was in rough physical health. My lung function was only 35% and my oxygen levels were 60-70% capacity. It was difficult getting around and I was hospitalized for 5 months. When I got out of the hospital I saw a man I knew who had lost a lot of weight and learned he was using a product called Tavala Trim. I told my daughter, Maile, who began researching the product and with excitement we both purchased product and joined as members. Surely if this product works, we knew many people who would be interested. Both of us were wanting to lose weight and hoped this would help us as we had both struggled for years. (As it turned out, my granddaughter Megan as well as Chad, Maile’s fiance, also decided to try the TRIM too.)
