Meet Jim and Teri Stull. Dynamic duo!
In their own words….well, actually in “Teri’s words”!
“In life so many people have their good times and bad times. Some people struggle with finances, careers, etc. but for us it was our weight loss struggle that had us singing the blues. On the positive note, it is what ultimately brought us together.
My life and my husband Jim’s was no exception. Throughout both our lives we have gained the same weight over and over again and then some. You know, you lose 20 lbs. but end up gaining 25, and it goes on and on, especially as we age.
I feel like I have dieted the majority of my life and experienced what many do as a roller coaster ride…. and then there is Jim’s story with weight gain- true….his was different than mine. Jim had been a collegiate athlete playing college football! He didn’t have an emotional eating issue like I had when we met but he had gained weight as he slowed down his activity in the gym or in working out.
I’ll never forget when we met. It was 2008 and to our amazement we were both involved in a network marketing company which just happened to be a weight loss company. Being overweight, no matter the reason, can make a person get depressed and discouraged! Can you relate? As an example Jim would go to the doctor and be told he needed to go on a diet and start the whole process over again and his -and ultimately OUR -life would change based on ‘diet’. OMG!
Flashback to the year 2001… Jim decided that he was tired of his stressful -yet successful- business life as an insurance specialist and financial planner and told wife at the time, (no,not me!) that he was moving onto something more he was more passionate about that can utilize his skills and relationships and also where he could be his own boss. Guess what? Network Marketing found him and he was a natural. Customers/Clients/ believed in Jim and wanted what he had discovered…. a business/company that helped people get healthy and guess what? Lose weight!!!! To say Jim was a success with this company is an understatement!
Many say he was called the ‘Golden Goose’ as whatever he touched turned to gold. Jim built a huge organization of 150,000 people but ended up selling it to his upline when he and his wife got divorced. The positive side of this is once you have experienced success in this industry, you know it is possible.
Even though we believed in this industry and wanted to improve our health (and yes, lose weight) timing is crucial. In March of 2017 a friend (Jennifer Dillon) from our previous company reached out to share a new product for weight loss and energy. She told me it was a thermogenic drink, boosted the metabolism, gave energy and focus and also helps suppress cravings and the appetite. Are you kidding? This is something both Jim and I have been looking for all along. Easy-peesy- She reached out to ME, not Jim as let’s just say he would not have been open after trying so many products over the years….including with our previous company.
I began using the Tavala TRIM sample that Jennifer shared. She was afraid to talk to Jim, as I was – why? Well, we had 10 other products that were supposed to do the same thing in our cupboard. All of them were not palpable. Jennifer knowing me and knowing that I would be more open and asked me if I wanted more energy and lose weight. Of course I said yes! I purchased the Trim and started my healthy journey with Tavala. Within a week I had lost five pounds and another week I had lost ten pounds. 
Jim asked me what I was doing I told him I was just walking the dogs. I must admit for the first time in my life I didn’t have to diet to lose weight and it was easy! I could eat a piece of pizza or eat a piece of pie without gaining the weight back. TRIM delivers! Cravings were gone!
D-day was April 1, 2017 for Jim- I wanted my husband back! Not only had he gained weight but he was showing signs of dementia. I then (reluctantly) told Jim about the Trim and he literally told me “if this doesn’t work he would give Jennifer a piece of his mind!”

A friend of mine, Keli, who is very savvy when it comes to nutrition and health and used to be a global trainer for a natural science company, used the term “Biochemical Individuality” the other day and I asked her what it meant. Since I sell and build a business (network) with nutritional and health products I thought this information was extremely useful.
