The industry of Network Marketing attracts people of all ages- from 18 to those who are already retired. This is one ‘business’ that is truly a level playing field and doesn’t require being a certain age, or having experience or a certain educational background, being a certain gender or possessing wealth to get started. The only thing a person needs is a true desire to go after what it is that they want in life, and be focused and dedicated to the process of sharing the products and opportunity of the company they are affiliated with…..(and here’s the key) to share with those who are interested and ready. One of the largest segments of population who are joining network marketing companies are the BABY BOOMERS!

Perhaps because we just turned 60 we are noticing a lot of people who are ‘baby boomers’ are digging in deeper than ever with their desire to create a lasting lifestyle at this stage in life. There are many reasons and we’ve had some great conversations with many ‘boomers’ in the past several months. Many of us are wanting to travel to places while we are physically capable and have the energy!

A survey last year by the Insured Retirement Institute found that 40% of baby boomers have nothing saved for retirement. And a Gallup poll revealed that nearly four in 10 Americans believe they’ll work beyond the official retirement age of 65.

A pretty grim retirement picture, right?

As I began thinking more and more about baby boomers in network marketing I stumbled upon several articles that I thought had useful information.

Network Marketing Baby Boomers are Generating a Second Income

One of the biggest trends today comes from Network Marketing Baby Boomers. The Baby Boomers desire for health and longer living is on the rise. Are you in the position to fulfill the needs of the baby boomers and build another stream of income and create financial independence in your life? Are you 50 plus and wondering if you can start a home based business? The answer is, yes you can!!

Here are some well known baby boomer facts:

In 2011, 13% of the US population is age 65 or older
There are 75 million people in the “baby boomer” generation born from 1946 through 1964
2.8 million baby boomers will become eligible for Medicare in 2011
Baby boomers today represent 28% of the US population
The Boomers spending power, every year, reaches to 2.1 trillion dollars. More than any other x-y-z generation.

DAY 6- Joy’s TAVALA JOURNEY

May 8th……Spring time in Vermont and a great time to release ALL things that no longer serve you.

New Beginnings– this could mean an opportunity or business. (Don’t overlook things that are presented to you or what comes your way- be open to new ideas and opportunities).

New Season– here in Vermont after a long and cold winter, people are outside, enjoying fresh air and sunshine….and health and fitness naturally becomes more of a priority for many, including myself.

Today is Day 6 of “paying attention to what I am consuming- meaning both FOOD and DRINK” and incorporating TAVALA products into my daily regime! Awareness is important! I had become sloppy about my eating habits….not eating often enough, making silly choices when I do eat and consuming alcohol every night! Now with my public commitment to “SELF”, I am loving using the TAVALA TRIM & CONTROL to address my weight loss- while also adding the other products of TAVALA : Alert, Snooze and Bru.

Things are beginning to change and shift and I attribute it to the TAVALA TRIM product (and other TAVALA products that support health, energy, blood sugar normalization and adequate sleep!).

By drinking just 1 TRIM drink each morning I no longer have the cravings, my appetite is suppressed BUT even thought I am not hungry, I still eat 3 very sensible small meals per day and 1-2 small snacks.

My water intake has quadrupled, which as most of us know, helps with weight loss, avoiding fatigue and every organ in our body works more effectively when your body is well hydrated and balanced. Drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water (we use water from our Kangen machine) will help with overall health.

I must say that I can not discount the Quantum Relief Strips. I have been using them daily, changing the strips (and often the location) every 48 hours. The Quantum Relief Strips have added a new sense of balanced energy (chi) and have helped me avoid any muscular aches and pains that often accompany a new workout regime. Yes, we have added weight training, cardio and almost daily, rebounding for helping with the lymph system remove waste.

Did you know toxins are stored in FAT CELLS and when you release the toxins fat cells shrink- and the fat is no longer needed to ‘house’ the toxins ? Day 5- Joy’s TAVALA Journey

I have to say adhering to one’s commitment is not always easy…. but I know it will be worth it. Today I had more time on my hands, visited family and friends, and honestly was tempted on several occasions to have a cold beer (especially after tennis) or a seasonal cocktail to join in with weekend celebration time…. but I did not. I kept thinking how I’d feel if I let myself down. I remember years ago when my son and I did a 10-day raw food challenge, he said “ANYONE CAN DO SOMETHING FOR 10-DAYS and if they can’t they are weak!”

I don’t want to be weak!

Today is Day 5 of taking care of myself in the TAVALA way I promised to…… and I have to say I feel more balanced and energized than I have in quite some time!!!!

This morning working around the house I tweaked my back and was so disappointed as today is a day when I wanted to catch up around the house, re-pot plants and also play tennis. So what did I do for my lower back that was tightening up and getting stiff and problematic? I opened the Mylar bag with our Quantum Relief Strips and placed a QR Strip on my lower left side of my back. I came to my computer, finished emails and by the time I had finished -say 30 min. or so, the stiffness and pain in my back was gone. The Quantum Relief Strips truly do bring energy to parts of the body that need it!

Tomorrow is Monday and although I know most people do not look forward to Mondays, I love them. New week, new possibilities and several leaders have recently joined our TAVALA business which makes it very fun and exciting.

My motivation at the end of 14-days of using TAVALA products daily, consuming no alcohol, eating 4-5 small meals per day, drinking plenty of water, and exercising daily is at the end I’ll have MY STORY!!!! Facts tell and stories sell.
