Meet Jim and Teri Stull. Dynamic duo!

In their own words….well, actually in “Teri’s words”!

“In life so many people have their good times and bad times. Some people struggle with finances, careers, etc. but for us it was our weight loss struggle that had us singing the blues. On the positive note, it is what ultimately brought us together.

My life and my husband Jim’s was no exception. Throughout both our lives we have gained the same weight over and over again and then some. You know, you lose 20 lbs. but end up gaining 25, and it goes on and on, especially as we age.

I feel like I have dieted the majority of my life and experienced what many do as a roller coaster ride…. and then there is Jim’s story with weight gain- true….his was different than mine. Jim had been a collegiate athlete playing college football! He didn’t have an emotional eating issue like I had when we met but he had gained weight as he slowed down his activity in the gym or in working out.

I’ll never forget when we met. It was 2008 and to our amazement we were both involved in a network marketing company which just happened to be a weight loss company. Being overweight, no matter the reason, can make a person get depressed and discouraged! Can you relate? As an example Jim would go to the doctor and be told he needed to go on a diet and start the whole process over again and his -and ultimately OUR -life would change based on ‘diet’. OMG!

Flashback to the year 2001… Jim decided that he was tired of his stressful -yet successful- business life as an insurance specialist and financial planner and told wife at the time, (no,not me!) that he was moving onto something more he was more passionate about that can utilize his skills and relationships and also where he could be his own boss. Guess what? Network Marketing found him and he was a natural. Customers/Clients/ believed in Jim and wanted what he had discovered…. a business/company that helped people get healthy and guess what? Lose weight!!!! To say Jim was a success with this company is an understatement!

Many say he was called the ‘Golden Goose’ as whatever he touched turned to gold. Jim built a huge organization of 150,000 people but ended up selling it to his upline when he and his wife got divorced. The positive side of this is once you have experienced success in this industry, you know it is possible.

Even though we believed in this industry and wanted to improve our health (and yes, lose weight) timing is crucial. In March of 2017 a friend (Jennifer Dillon) from our previous company reached out to share a new product for weight loss and energy. She told me it was a thermogenic drink, boosted the metabolism, gave energy and focus and also helps suppress cravings and the appetite. Are you kidding? This is something both Jim and I have been looking for all along. Easy-peesy- She reached out to ME, not Jim as let’s just say he would not have been open after trying so many products over the years….including with our previous company.

I began using the Tavala TRIM sample that Jennifer shared. She was afraid to talk to Jim, as I was – why? Well, we had 10 other products that were supposed to do the same thing in our cupboard. All of them were not palpable. Jennifer knowing me and knowing that I would be more open and asked me if I wanted more energy and lose weight. Of course I said yes! I purchased the Trim and started my healthy journey with Tavala. Within a week I had lost five pounds and another week I had lost ten pounds.

Jim asked me what I was doing I told him I was just walking the dogs. I must admit for the first time in my life I didn’t have to diet to lose weight and it was easy! I could eat a piece of pizza or eat a piece of pie without gaining the weight back. TRIM delivers! Cravings were gone!

D-day was April 1, 2017 for Jim- I wanted my husband back! Not only had he gained weight but he was showing signs of dementia. Boy did he feel it!

Weight has always been a huge part of mine, and my families lives. I’ve watched many family members gain and lose hundreds of pounds throughout our lifetime. So in December of 03 after reaching and all time highest weight of 298 lbs, I decided to “do it”.

I had the original gastric bypass surgery. I lost over a 150 lbs. in a year-ish time. The Quick Fix was over right? Heck no, not even close…… I had numerous life threatening health complications as a direct result of the surgery. So you can imagine my surprise 15 years later when I had gained a good amount of the weight back. I was actually reconsidering having a revision done on my original bypass surgery, when my sister from Las Vegas told me about “some products” that her friend was using and having great weight loss success.

She sent me a month of a few different products and after losing 16 pounds in a few short weeks I was “tickled pink” and knew I needed to get more of “that”. As a best way to continue purchasing the products on a single mom’s budget, I signed up as a distributor with the company. I knew nothing of MLM, and the little I did know- was I was not interested in it . I had been a licensed cosmetologist for over 15 years at that point, and had no interest in doing anything other than that.

Well I’ve always been super social and ran in many different circles. So the business just kind of happened naturally for me. After helping most of my friends and family members I branched out and used Facebook and social media to help others across the world. Fast forward three months and my network marketing career was in full swing. I was able to walk away from a salon I was working full-time at and was on the road to becoming a network marketing professional. Not long after I was at the top of my game traveling from state-to-state regularly doing meetings for my team all over the United States, and loving every minute of it.

You see, I have always “loved people” and “making sure they felt included” and felt “part of”….. it has just been ingrained in me. I can remember family parties when I was in elementary school sitting at the window and waiting for the “next car” to pull up and running outside as fast as I could to welcome people and help them get in the house. I remember my mom saying “Char-Lee, at least let them get through the front door”.

I also had sales and sharing in my in my blood from early on. I can remember going through my neighborhood and picking up rocks from my neighbor’s front yards, then knocking at their front door and explaining to them why they should purchase these rocks from me as they were a perfect match to the rocks they already had. Little did I know they were ‘on to me’ and they just loved me coming by to visit.They always bought their rocks from me, and enjoyed my company.

After almost 5 years with my previous company the rug got pulled out from under “us”. With a simple email we were all informed that they had gone “retail”. Realizing what that meant, that me, nor my massive team would no longer be making any money. Talk about a punch to the gut. I had pretty much decided I was going to go back to a salon full-time and hang up my MLM hat. I just didn’t have it in me to “do it all again” and be fearful of “what if” again.

My mom, and all her wisdom, pointed out to me that she truly thought network marketing was my calling, and that perhaps I should try another company. And that she felt that I was made for network marketing and that it was a true passion of mine. She suggested I do my homework and find a new company. I knew this couldn’t be something taken lightly, as I was looking for a forever home in the MLM industry. I never wanted to be “that girl” who was with a new company every time people turned around. And so the process began.

I requested samples from over 10 companies. And I believe the 7th sample I tried was Tavala. I just knew that I knew this was it. I move pretty fast and within 2 days of joining I had 10 of my peeps involved with me. I had spoken to my upline -her upline- his upline and several people from the corporate team including Tavala’s CEO Allan Davis. I was convinced, this was it.

Everyone has gone above and beyond to help and to reassure us that we are in a safe place. They’ve also acknowledged our fears and help to put them to rest. After having some quick weight loss success (of over 15 pounds in approximately my first 23 days taking the Tavala Trim) I definitely had my fire back. And after getting paid the first Friday after joining the company, and every Friday thereafter, I knew that I had found the magic sauce.

How exciting again!! I am losing weight, feeling great, making money, and even ranked advancing to Palladium in record time (within less than a month of joining the company.) How cool is that, the company rewarded me with an iPad for an efforts, my team members are ranked advancing also and getting awarded as well. Nothing better then barely being able to fall asleep at night and then excitedly waking up the next morning ready to do it all again.

This crazy train is running full steam ahead and there’s no stopping Char-Lee’s Angel’s now. So so so grateful to have found a forever home for me and my tribe. As we are a package deal. Grateful to still be able to work from home though my now 18 and 20 year old kids probably wish I would have gone to work very, very full time very, very far away from home. LOL just kidding they both love me being home and available for them.

I am honored to be able to help my friends and family and their friends and family and their friends and family lose weight feel great again as well as make a strong solid income on top of it. It’s with pleasure to introduce you to “Powerhouse” Zeth Francis, from the Bahamas.

In her own words….

“The Senator” is what they call me in my professional life & throughout the islands of The Bahamas, but my birth name is “Zeth” meaning “investigator,” “Appointed & “the replacement.”

When one was given a name with so many significance, it’s with conviction I MUST succeed at anything I do. Nevertheless, not in a million years would I have thought I would be taking weight loss supplements. Especially, strangely since as a teenager I’ve always taken products to make me GAIN weight (Crazy I know).

Growing up on 2 small islands Nassau & Freeport (Bahamas) I became a teenage mother forcing me at a young ago to be an entrepreneur.

About a year leading up to the September 11th tragedy, I had owned two successful businesses and due to the halt of visiting tourists, resulting in the downturn in the economy in our country, I was forced to closed one business in 2001 & the other in 2012. Needless to say I had to MAKE something happen, so I became a talk show host & got job as a Quality Analyst. Well one day things changed & I became unemployed, struggling with trying to stay above water selling clothing and doing whatever I could do.

But it physically, mentally & emotionally took a toll on my life, laying around the house eating and drinking everything I shouldn’t I had gained a lot of weight. Its amazing to see how I watched my body changed 3 times in my lifetime- once at 15 during my teenage pregnancy, twice after my daughter at age 36 & thirdly due to being unemployed.

Then one day my cousin Natasha called me and said she had a new Weight Loss product called Tavala Trim that she wanted me to try & how I can also get paid.

Needless to say I was NOT interested, but started sending her clients who I knew wanted to lose weight. Then a few weeks later- to my surprise as I checked my emails, I was like ‘ WDH’ is this? We encourage others to be 100% authentic in sharing “their story” and yet we stopped telling OUR story on network marketing and why we LOVE this industry….so we thought we’d share it here!

When we first met, in 2005 we were both involved in network marketing but with different companies. It was fun to support each others entrepreneurial juices and we understood the dedication it takes to build and support a team.

The end of 2007 we moved from Arizona to Vermont to be close to family and to support our daughter who was having her first baby. People asked how we could sell everything (including Dave’s car) and move across country without a job…but the truth is they just didn’t understand we HAVE A JOB, it’s called being a a network marketing professional and we’ll be fine! One of the best things about this industry is you can live anywhere, as long as you have internet and a cell phone.

In 2008 both of the companies we were with were going through some major changes and when I say MAJOR- I mean Major! Relationship breakups with Dave’s company had the owners splitting and dividing…. changing everything that Dave had built. The company I was with changed from a Uni-level compensation plan to a Binary- as well as changed names of the company and many products. It felt like everything I had built was slipping away. Even the $500 monthly car bonus I once received was taken away, leaving me with a monthly car payment of $650. What is wrong with that picture?

We hung in there as long as we could until we were behind on all of our bills. Even though our monthly checks were less, our bills continued to grow. Winter in Vermont is not cheap!

Around that time we knew we needed to make a change….. although we didn’t give up on the industry, we decided we needed to get a job…. and for both of us, that was devastating as we had been our own boss for most of our lives. Still, you do what you need to do.

I took a job opening a franchised 24-hour health club- working LONG and crazy ‘gym hours’. Dave even considered moving to Asia to teach English to pilots, as he was a flight instructor, a pilot and used to buy and sell airplanes. Luckily for us, he never did move overseas. Instead he worked multiple jobs, piecing them together to bring in a somewhat sustainable income. At 3:30 in the morning he would get up to deliver newspapers- not a long term plan, especially in the winter months. We owned only one vehicle that eventually was repossessed when we finally realized paying $650 month for a car was ridiculous. For a while Dave borrowed my dads truck to deliver the newspapers and I took public transportation to get to my job.

In addition to delivering newspapers he would then go to the gym I managed and was the janitor …oh yeah, and and on the weekends was a manager at the Days Inn!

While at the gym I introduced him to a member who had a painting company and was looking for painters and he hired Dave that spring to paint houses and condos part-time. Imagine being in your 50’s painting in the hot sun on 28′ ladders. Still, you do what you have to do. Eventually Dave became a personal trainer, adding a 4th job to his resume’….but at least this job allowed us to work together and see one another. Prior to that our hours were complete opposite one another. Still…..you do what you have to do!

All along we couldn’t believe that this is what our life had come to! Luckily we believed this was only temporary and kept our options open that would somehow allow us to get back into the industry that we both loved and had experienced success in.

Flash forward 3 years and with both excitement and some nervousness, we got reengaged in network marketing. The company I had been with since 2006 had a new division, things had changed for the better and the CEO spoke to us about us re-engaging. One thing that caught our attention is a colleague with that company was now earning MORE in one week than her monthly checks had been. THAT caught our attention.

Even though we didn’t have the extra money to buy the necessary larger pack to be ‘grandfathered in’ at a higher pay level we made the decision to buy it and to not pay our Comcast Internet service and our Verizon cell phone service. If we were going to get back into network marketing, we needed every advantage and to make money fast!

We were already two months behind on all our bills and those services were our life line to other possibilities… but we did it anyway! Now we needed (not just wanted) to make this work! Luckily when you are entrepreneurial and have had success before, with the right opportunity and excitement, we knew we could do it again. It was our ticket to freedom!

Our first month back in network marketing we earned $2,851. YES! Within 3 months we were earning $5K a month and within 6 months we were earning $10K a month and growing!

When people tell us we don’t understand when money is tight we actually DO understand….first hand! But that’s not the reason you can’t do it, it’s the reason you HAVE to.

We love what network marketing has done for us and can offer the average person. The flexibility it offers us offers so many options in life. We can live where we want, we never miss a family celebration or birth of a grandchild. We travel often to warm and exotic destinations and we work with a fabulous team of people who are like us, looking to create a ‘better tomorrow’ and to impact people’s lives in a positive way. We’re able to contribute in ways we haven’t been able to for many years.

We’re proud to say we are top leaders with our network marketing company and adore this industry and all the ‘good’ that it represents. We made the decision to be the up line sponsors that we never had and true to our word, we believe we are. We have created an environment and culture on our team that is unstoppable and know someday we’ll be one of the Tavala Elite Circle.

The picture to the left was taken during a company cruise that we qualified for once we first joined. We celebrated with a good size team but know that this year our team will be massive and new and stronger relationships will be created. “My name is Gary T. Sweeting Jr. and I live in Nassau, Bahamas. I’ve been in the Network Marketing industry since end of 1999. I’ve been with multiple network marketing companies over these years, sometimes more than one at a time!.

I’ve made some money throughout these years and it’s always been “the dream of retirement” that keeps me engaged….even my father always says “here you go again pushing so hard” and calling me a “DREAMER “. Perhaps I am! He doesn’t understand why I work so hard at it- but here is my thought….” if I would put in 10 to 12 hrs a day working for someone else, why not put in time building MY dreams and achieving my goals for a better future for me and my family?

I was always heard to pay yourself first! I was told one of my dreams is to block ‘Palmdale area’ one day when I retire because of the the limos and friends will come to get me and take me away! I hold that vision.

There are many reasons I love this industry- I enjoy helping people (sometimes to a fault giving products away to people who are not able to pay but desperately needed it) but it fuels my heart!! Helping people to achieve their goals is my true passion… money is not always a priority to me.

I joined TAVALA on October 7 2017 with several goals in mind. One to be very successful in network marketing and help my team achieve success, but also to lose weight and make my health a priority.

I tried Tavala TRIM, Tavala’s flagship product, first time on October 7, 2017. My weight was 403 pounds and by November I was down 32 lbs. By the end of November I was down 55 lbs. and by December 6, 2017 was 339 lbs. THAT’S 64 lbs gone in ONLY 2 MONTHS!

Now here in the BAHAMAS most scales don’t go past 350 lbs. so I would go to a local fish house to get weighed…Thanks to “Paradise Fishery Nassau, Bahamas”.

The Tavala Trim made weight loss easy as it gave me energy and focus, helped suppress my appetite and cravings & boosted my metabolism. Along with taking the TRIM I committed to a local boot camp program which helped me with my exercise.

By February 27, 2018 I had dropped 100 lbs. which is half of what I plan to lose with Tavala. This made me the third person with Tavala to reach a 100 lbs. weight loss.

The video below shows my progress! I am thankful daily that I joined Tavala and that the company does what it says it is going to do- including having a warehouse here in Nassau, Bahamas. I continue to be grateful for never giving up in network marketing and am confident I’ll reach my financial goals with Tavala. I’m off to a good start!

In her Own Words!

“I have been a caregiver for 15 years caring for kids . I have worked for several day cares (in the Bahamas) and unfortunately in November, 2013 the last daycare I worked for close it’s doors due to the decline in business activity. This left myself and 4 other persons jobless. It was a hard pill to swallow for me and my husband, we also had our 1 year old son to care for . As a result all of the bills we had fell on me husband Travis.

So I became a stay at home mom and started to home-school our son until he was about 3 years old. And at that time I knew that my son needed to work on his socialization skills so we send him to school to be around other kids his age . In that space of time I had a lot of people approaching me and asking me to care for their babies at my house. So in March, 2015 I started to do a little daycare at home – which was a good thing because it brought in some cash to help pay off some of our bills.

In October 2017 I was introduced to a company called Tavala by Natasha Russell while I was at her salon. While I was sitting down waiting for my nail tech to finish up a client so I can get my nails refill she came up to me and began to tell me about Tavala and products. I remember I just sat there with all my walls up saying to myself you are not going to get me to sign up for this! (famous last words!).

My initial thought was “I will not allow you all to scam me” but I listened to everything she had to say but honestly it all went in one ear and out the other ear! Then my intuition kicked in! That little voice said to me “How do you know that it’s a scam? How do you know that they will not pay you? How will you know if you don’t try it for yourself?” So I told her sign me up. I signed up knowing that I have never done anything like this before- in fact I didn’t know what the first thing that I should do let alone if the products work or anything. Luckily Natasha is a well-seasoned networker and has been a great support as I am learning. One thing I love with Tavala is you can still EARN WHILE YOU LEARN!

In the middle of October I began to take the products and as soon as I started taking the product everything that she told me the product would do it did… I saw the weight loss and the energy boost almost immediately. Also I started to cut back on the amount of food I would eat throughout the day. The TRIM definitely helps suppress the appetite and cravings! Once I had my personal experience it was right then I knew that I needed to work the business.

I’ve never done network marketing before- Tavala is a first for me and from what people have shared with me, I feel fortunate to be part of such a great company and team -especially as someone new to the industry.

I broke down the walls that had me scared of network marketing so now that those walls are gone I am going to use this for my family financial freedom. My husband is studying to be a pilot now so Tavala is going to help me pay his school fees and allow us to save for the future.”

“I am a 35-year-old female, born in Jamaica, who has never been in the network marketing industry before. Yes, you got that right it’s my first time and so far so good!

Meet Natasha Russell from the Bahamas….

In her own words:

“After 13 years being employed at our local casino as a dealer (in the Bahamas) they decided to close the doors leaving me and many others out of work. That was a hard financial blow to our family as I was used to making good money. However, the one thing that lacked with that job was time freedom….I worked long hours!

People often say “Timing is important” and that is so true! It was at that time that my passion for network marketing came to life!

Fortunately for me, I was introduced to Tavala by a contact in my cell phone, Chantell Varence, whom I didn’t even know personally, but who offered to send me a 3-day sample pack of the Tavala Trim. (Lesson here, don’t be afraid to offer people a sample of the Trim!)

I was blown away by my results, so without hesitation I asked her to please enroll me. To my surprise, I learned that it is FREE to join Tavala. That’s right- zero joining fee!

Soon after I then began taking the products, in particular the Tavala Trim product, I lost 25 pounds in just 2 months. People began to notice my weight loss which made it very easy and fun to share. One of my biggest supporters of my weight loss was my husband, Leroy!

“I have always been the person that does what it takes to survive. I have never been the person to let fear hold me back.

My husband and I and 4 children live a very simple life. Working on ranches, welding, mechanic, mail delivery, fish hatchery, promotional items, construction and even some cattle artificial insemination to make life go smoothly! I was taught to work hard and life will be easy. (NOT) I have always wanted to lose weight as 4 children left my body a bit different and my energy level was at an all time LOW-but I carried forward. Several years ago a friend sent me a sample of a product that would help me lost weight and gain energy… so of course I tried it and shared with everyone.

That company taught me the dos…. and the DONT’S of Network Marketing!!! I had a 5 year sprint with that company and made some good money. We were the top of the top, money, enrollers, doing network marketing full time and changing lives. We even built lifelong friendship and seriously found our spot in life…. changing people’s lives for health, wealth and lifestyle… PERFECT FIT for what I love to do!

Then my world came crashing down. The company turned to retail and took my entire 5 years of work with them. I could have stayed with them and continue to promote the company, but I would have taken all of my down lines money and left them with nothing… while still selling products I believed in. That was a Deal breaker for me. Integrity was everything. I live in a rural area with barely 15000 people and if I had done that my name would have been mud.

I went back to work…. punching a time clock building someone else dreams. My husband, Travis, went back to welding (which absolutely makes him physically ill with the dirty environment) and we begin our journey again.
Travis is working 3 jobs and me 2 and we are just trying to survive… Not sure why I had not lost hope but I did not…

I never did give up on Network Marketing and after shopping for the ‘next thing’…and many samples and hours on the phone with many companies, I could not find that fire I once had. Maybe I was pouting but it was not there.

Then someone introduced me to Tavala (honestly, all the while I was literally rolling my eyes because every company has the same key phrases!)

All I needed was a product that did what it said it did and a company that did what it said it would do.

Honesty and transparency was all I was looking for, however I had not made up my mind to go all in again.

Travis is working until I can hit some financial marks that we can be comfortable at. Are you looking for a way you can earn income from home? A way you can still have a balance in your family life, choose the hours you work and not have to report back to anyone or stamp a time clock? If so, you are not alone. Daily thousands of people both with jobs, and without, are looking for a way to work from the comfort of their homes. Perhaps that is why telecommuting is so popular.

OK, so let’s say you only want to work part-time “What is the best industry or job to work that will make it worth your time and energy? Without question or hesitation I’d say it is the industry of network marketing.

Not familiar with network marketing? Check around- there are lots of great books out there. Check out this book that is written by a woman FOR women. www.FourYearCareerforWomen.com

Do your research. If you are entrepreneurial and self motivated, you’ll find that with network marketing you own your own business, but don’t have the overhead or the start up business costs of a traditional business…. and your income you can earn has no ceiling. You can be in the black your first week!

With careful research and tapping into the industries you LOVE, you can find a great company that will be a good fit. But I caution here- don’t join the first business that is presented to you or better yet, make sure you join a solid company where the timing, the products, the financial backing and the support from ‘team’ will be best for you. This is especially true if you are only wanting to put 5-20 hours a week into your business. Put another way, interview the company as well as the person presenting the opportunity, as if it were a ‘job’ interview.

I got into network marketing when I was a single mom of two children. It made sense to me- seemed easy to share a product I was passionate about with others, and I could easily make $300 a month income, which was my original goal. My first month- to my surprise, I earned enough money to pay my condo mortgage. I was hooked.

If you’re a woman who is currently a stay-at-home mom let’s talk. It is my passion to help other women in this industry. Women are natural ‘networkers’. We love to chat and share with others. Just think of how you found your dentist, doctor, favorite restaurant, heard about your favorite book or went to a recent movie based on a referral. Most likely someone recommended those things to you.

We work with a team of people where we really CARE ABOUT and where we HAVE PASSION for one another and each others success. We have an amazing TEAM CULTURE.

Make sure you find those things in your team if you decide this is the industry for you. Do you enjoy recognition? Travel? Making new friends? Making a difference in peoples health? in their life? Having no limit to your success? If you answered YES to more than 3 of these questions, then this industry could be for you...taking it a step further what we have could be perfect fit for you!
