If you have been following Shelby Vinson’s progress with her weight loss you’ll recall that her best friend Kara introduced her to a product called TAVALA TRIM this spring.

LADIES : Please read !!! (Weight Loss vs. Inch Loss)

Society has trained us to WEIGH ourselves when we go on a ‘diet’. This is precisely why so many of us (yes, especially women) get caught up on the number on the scale versus inch loss. Even when I ‘know better’ I do as well.

As a personal trainer I encourage women to care more about body composition and how they FEEL and how their clothes fit. After all, FAT takes up more than 5x more ‘space’ than lean muscle, but as you can see by the visual above, it also burns far fewer calories. This is why weight resistant training (even using your own body weight versus weights or bands) is extremely helpful in changing your body composition.

We’re excite to share Marilyn Woodard’s Inspring Journey with Tavala.

“I’m so excited about about this Tavala journey that I’ve been on since 9-22-2017. I have lost 30 lbs. and have kept it off.

Meet Texas Aggie, Kara Bagley!

My name is Kara Bagley, formerly Kara Totherow, and I was born February 12, 1979. I grew up in Mesquite, TX which is a suburb of Dallas and moved to Emory Texas after my son Jared was born in 2007.

I married Jason Bagley in 2004 and had just completed my Bachelor degree in nursing and I was working 12 hours shifts in ICU. After we moved to Emory I started doing home health full time and loved it and I’m still doing it today. In 2013 we were blessed with our second child, Katelynn, who is by all means my little firecracker!

I was fortunate enough to have been provided a wonderful education at Texas A&M University by my parents and I was actually the first in my family to attend college. The cost of my 4 years at Texas A&M was roughly $40,000. Unlike a lot of my friends and colleagues I came out of college without the burden of student loan debt. Imagine the look in mine and Jason’s eyes when our financial advisor told us it is going to cost around &150,000 per child to send my kids to Texas A&M University! My husband and I have good jobs and make good salaries but it would be a struggle for us to save enough money for both of our kids to attend college on just our salaries alone.

Enter Tavala. I was offered a sample of Trim by a total stranger. I need to lose 30lbs. to get to my ideal weight and everyone loves a little help so I accepted. I did some research on the company and discovered that it was essentially brand new in the state of Texas and could potentially be a huge financial blessing for me and my family. I signed up as Brand Partner that night and have since lost 11lbs. on Trim.

My goal in life is to be as successful as I can be in anything I do. The idea of financial freedom and better health is what I am aiming for now. Not only do I want to be able to pay for my kid’s education but I also want to be able to enjoy their college days as an Aggie Parent!
