I’m fairly new to the world of CBD… and yet have known for years that there are numerous health benefits. Rather than do a ton of research, I reached out to our friend Michael, and he shared THIS article through his blog. I hope you enjoy it. Since this article numerous products, including CBD products, have been added to CTFO’s “Buyers Club Network”. For more info go to http://www.DaveandJoy.com
What is CBD? Who is CTFO? Why is CTFO CBD the Best Quality on Planet Earth

What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is an organic, non-psychoactive therapeutic chemical compound found in the cannabis plant that belongs to a class of molecules called cannabinoids. Unlike the cannabinoid THC, CBD does not get you high and does not produce intoxication. CBD is one of many active cannabinoid chemicals found in the hemp plant that targets specific receptors in the cells of your brain and body called the Endocannabinoid System. When these receptors are activated, they enable a two-way communication between body systems, which is something that was previously thought of as not possible.
CBD is referred to as a “smart” molecule, as it acts as an adaptogen, a regulator, and a modulator. Studies show CBD has a much broader impact on health than THC, as about 80% of the health benefits of medical marijuana can be attributed to CBD.
CBD is becoming increasingly popular among the masses for having a wide scope of medicinal benefits. Research has shown that non psychoactive therapeutic cannabidiol may be used for both the treatment and prevention for a wide range of conditions, including arthritis, diabetes, addiction, inflammation and chronic pain, anxiety, schizophrenia and bipolar disorders, depression, epilepsy, and other neurological disorders. Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, CBD could even help treat acne.
Because you can’t get high with CBD, it is legal and safe to consume, even in high doses, and is available without a prescription in all 50 states. For many people, CBD is becoming a healthy addition to their lives. I encourage you to do your own research, educate yourself, and then incorporate CBD into your daily life with CTFO.
What is CTFO?
CTFO is Changing The Future Outcome, now a 5 year old company (as I share this July, 2020) originally based out of California (now Nevada) that is committed to offering the highest quality, lowest priced, and most effective CBD based products on the market.
What is unique about CTFO CBD?
Not all hemp is created equal and not all extraction methods produce the same quality. CTFO CBD is made from both the CBD isolate along with the full spectrum whole plant hemp oil. This combination provides a much higher potency of CBD while maintaining over 120 other cannabinoids and more than 400 phytonutrients that exist in the hemp plant, all of which have health benefits. CTFO’s extraction technology allows for the extraction of all of these nutrients, without using any heat or harmful solvents. The result is a whole food with exceptional nutritional qualities.
CTFO CBD is made from non-GMO, pesticide free, CO2 extracted hemp oil using only organic ingredients. All CTFO products are manufactured in the USA in a registered GMP, cruelty-free facility. CTFO sources their hemp from Industrial Hemp farms that are fully compliant with the State Department of Agriculture regulations. These farms use only the best, highest quality, organic hemp. CTFO CBD delivers the purest and highest quality CBD, along with over 400 other phytonutrients, in a naturally synergistic, easy-to-use and easy-to-absorb form. NOW FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ENJOY A DEEPER EXPLANATION IN SCIENTIFIC TERMS, READ ON…..
What is the Endocannabinoid System?
People have been using cannabis as a medicinal herb for thousands of years. Despite its long history of use, our understanding of how it takes effect on a cellular level has only begun to develop very recently. The surface has only been scratched on what cannabinoids are, how they work, why they have such an affinity with the human body and mind, and how it possesses such an enormous number of potential health benefits.
Research on the medicinal benefits of cannabis has led to the discovery of a biochemical communication system in the human body called the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). In the mid-1980’s, a cell receptor for cannabinoids was discovered in the brain and central nervous system. It was appropriately name CB1 (cannabinoid receptor number 1). This discovery begged the question: why is there a receptor in the brain specifically for receiving the cannabinoid compounds found in cannabis? And, could it be that the CB1 receptor is actually there for receiving chemicals naturally present within the body? So the research expanded from only studying the cannabinoids in cannabis to looking for cannabinoid-like compounds produced within the human body that also acted on the CB1 receptor. Because the body’s own self-produced cannabinoids were endogenous, they were appropriated named “endo-cannabinoids.”
Eventually, a second receptor was found and named the CB2 receptor. Researchers speculate there may be a third cannabinoid receptor yet to be discovered. CB receptors are present throughout the whole body. CB1 receptors are predominately present in the brain and nervous system while CB2 receptors are more prevalent in the periphery of the body.
Endocannabinoids are believed to be integral to the immune system, mental function, stress management, as well as the body’s ability to achieve and maintain homeostasis. The endocannabinoid system is involved with regulating many basic functions of the human body, including appetite, metabolism, pain, sleep, mood, movement, memory and learning, immune function, inflammation, neuroprotection, cardiovascular function, and digestion, to name a few. Besides maintaining basic functions, the endocannabinoid system also acts in response to illness. But through stress, toxicity, poor diet and lifestyle choices, there is a very real possibility that we can develop an endocannabinoid deficiency, meaning that the function of the endocannabinoid system may become impaired. This is why supplementing your diet with therapeutic cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant is wise and can be very beneficial, giving the body what it needs to heal itself and support the homeostatic process.
We already have the organic infrastructure in place to fully utilize the constituents in cannabis because the plant produces a spectrum of bio-identical compounds that perfectly mimic the endogenous chemicals that are produced within our own body, which is what makes this all so very interesting and enlightening.
While there are known health benefits associated with THC, controversy surrounds the legalization of medical marijuana because THC gets you high. If you take the THC out of marijuana, what argument is there left to debate?
