We went off KETOPIA and our Weight Loss Continues!
The burn continues!!!!
Now that I have been through 3 10-Day Resets of Ketopia I know first hand what they mean when they say KETOPIA RESETS your body…. it is like rebooting your computer! Prior to Ketopia nothing I did altered my weight or body fat. Post menopause my body was STUCK and I was NOT a happy camper!

Here is what happened to us!
The below pictures are our first 30 days using Ketopia. I dropped massive amounts of inches in hard to rid areas like my “meno-pot” and ‘back’….and lost 7 pounds. Dave dropped 22 pounds and lots of inches, primarily around his chest and mid-section. We are both 58 and had been STUCK at this weight and body size for the past 3-4 years.
The following 30 Days we went off Ketopia but we did embrace the ketogenic diet. This is a diet that is high in healthy fats, with moderate protein and low carbs. My results: I continued to get lean and dropped another 3 lbs. and Dave got leaner and dropped another 10 lbs.
Our energy continued to be high, our cravings were low and our mental clarity was acute -due to the added healthy fats.
What Did We Eat?
POST Ketopia the following is a typical day of what we ate. We continued to exercise approximately 30 minutes per day and kept well-hydrated with water!
Before Breakfast: (coffee time!)
We began having bullet proof coffee. This is coffee where you add a Tbs. of unsalted grass fed organic butter and high oxtane oil TO your coffee and blend. If you are thinking this sounds crazy then you are not alone- but it IS delicious and a meal unto itself as it is very satisfying and gives you instant brain power! When I first heard of this I thought it would taste horrible…but I was wrong.
A Typical Breakfast: 2-3 eggs, bacon (optional) couple of olives, slice of avocados and slice of cheese (note the high fat choices)
A Typical Lunch: FIXX or Thunder Shake (www.JoysFavorites.com) 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 cup water, 2 Tbs. heavy cream, 1/4 avocado and blend! (I also add 1 drop of peppermint essential oil to mine so it has a peppermint patty flavor!)
Snacks throughout the Day: Cheese stick or slice of cheese, celery with almond butter or lettuce wrap with feta cheese, black olives and dab of pesto, nuts.
A Typical Dinner: Small piece of chicken or fish on the grill or grass fed organic hamburger. Leafy green salad with blue cheese, feta cheese, celery, avocado and black olives- oils and salad dressing (zero sugar and carbs). Occasional steam veggies or zucchini on the grill.
Believe it or not, we are never hungry eating this way and are both surprised and delighted that our clothes continue to get looser.
We will begin another 10-Day Reset of Ketopia this coming week and plan to each month to keep our body in a healthy state of nutritional ketosis.
