How you create a culture in any business, but in particular in network marketing, is not only important, it is crucial. You see when people join a network marketing company they joined a “volunteer” army- they are not a paid employee. If they don’t like how they feel….or don’t feel appreciated or a part of something special, they can quit. Poof, gone!
What we have found in the many years in this industry is that the CULTURE is actually MORE important to most people than the actual products. Don’t get me wrong, the products have to be good and align with someone to stay long term, or to feel comfortable and in alignment with recommending -but it the culture of how they FEEL on the team, in the company, is what keeps people long term.
When we decided to resign from a network marketing company that we had been with for over 10 years and begin from ground zero, it was partly because the culture of that company fell apart and lost it’s integrity. No amount of money or recognition could keep us there. So when Tavala corporate reached out to us when they founded Tavala and we knew the CEO and VP of Global Sales, and trusted them… we began asking more about the culture of the corporate team and company than we did about the products. We found that the company we were joining aligned more closely with what we want in a culture and we LOVE network marketing.
One of the first things we did was to create a culture of VALUES that are important to us. Like attracts Like!
The first thing we decided to do when we joined Tavala was to become the up line that we never had!
Then we decided to create a culture that would attract great people to our team! (Create an amazing culture where leaders and people of high integrity join…and by creating a culture that is so POSITIVE and upbeat, that it repels negative and toxic people!)
