PowerStrips for Pain Relief and Working Out

PAIN and DISCOMFORT are nothing to joke about and millions of people are affected by it. As a result many have to limit their life because they can no longer do what they used to be able to do. Although I have been active and healthy my entire life, I got a taste of what this is like last year.

April 2012 I sustained an injury that caused me to have pain and limited range of motion in my right shoulder area. It truly limited my life on so many levels because I had always been very active, strong and enjoyed working out with free weights…and I couldn’t do those things. It was difficult holding my newborn granddaughter for long periods of time, putting on a shirt and then removing it OVER MY HEAD caused pain and my muscle tone in my upper body began to diminish. I wasn’t even able to correctly show my personal training clients proper form with certain exercises because I couldn’t do them – so I became masterful at explaining how to do a certain exercise. It was not a happy time for me.

(NaturalNews) The ginseng plant has long been used medicinally to treat a variety of ailments, and a recent review of several published studies reveals that allergies are one of them. It appears as though “red” ginseng, or raw ginseng root that has been steamed, holds special value in the treatment of certain allergy symptoms, and particularly when it is fermented.
Published in the journal Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Research, the review explains how fermenting red ginseng helps to increase the plant’s biological activity, including its saponin content, which in turn results in a more potent anti-allergy effect. This is also evidenced by the increased anti-inflammatory effect that results from the fermentation, which also helps reduce or eliminate allergy symptoms.

For their review, researchers administered six, 250 milligram (mg) pills of fermented red ginseng a day to patients between the ages of 18 and 55 suffering from at least two of the four major allergies associated with rhinitis, which include itching, sneezing, runny nose, or congestion, for four weeks. A placebo group was also given the same amount, size, and shape of pills with a non-active substance for four weeks.

After accounting for various other factors that might alter results, researchers determined that fermented red ginseng helped to improve Rhinitis Quality of Life (RQoL) factors, which include sleep, nasal problems, non-nose/non-eye symptoms, activity state, emotional state, and eye symptoms. The fermented red ginseng group also had reduced skin discoloration symptoms associated with perennial allergens.

As far as the total nasal symptom score (TNSS), which addresses itching, sneezing, runny nose, and congestion symptoms using a four-point scale, fermented red ginseng appeared to relieve these symptoms as well. POWER STRIPS and Where to Place Them

People across the globe are discovering a new health product called Power Strips. People are asking us what are Power Strips? How do the work? And where do I put them?

When we were first introduced to the Power Strips we had 2 specific areas we wanted to see improvements in:

I had experienced shoulder pain for over a year and had limited range of motion. I guess the medical establishment labels that a “frozen shoulder”. My best scenario would be for me to use the Power Strips to get relief from pain and discomfort and be able to use my arm and shoulder freely with no limited range of motion. I placed my first Power Strip on my upper right shoulder- on the upper right side of my back/shoulder blade.

Dave on the other hand wasn’t experiencing any pain, but he did have bad sinus issues which had plagued him for over 8 years. He relied on nasal spray several times a night to simply “get through the night”, breath and to sleep. Needless to say, along with difficulty in breathing came occasional snoring.

My first night, after applying a Power Strip I found that I was pain free and sleeping on my stomach for the first time in over a year….which was very exciting. I am a “stomach sleeper” and had not been able to sleep without pain. Prior to that I had not been able to get in a comfortable position and tossed and turned throughout the night. I slept so deep and sound that night. Today, 9 weeks later I am still pain free and have full range of motion.

For Dave, he placed a partial Power Strip on his forehead and a tiny strip across the bridge of his nose. The Cause and Effect of Low Stomach Acid
